Jason Koh II DDS

As a physician, I am very particular about where I receive health and dental care. Dr. Koh is one of the finest dentists around. He has a relaxed personable manner that puts you at ease even as he is drilling into a tooth. His team is just as good, starting with Yuki at the front desk, Ashley T. who is a fantastic hygienist, and Tina who assists him with procedures.
If you are looking for a dentist, you need to see Dr. Koh, you will not be disappointed!

I had been scared of going to the dentist for the past few years due to bad experiences and problems with my TMJ. They were recommended by a friend so I gave it a try.
I was nervous at my first appointment but the hygienist completely put me at ease. She was super nice and professional. Great cleaning experience!
Then I saw Dr Koh and he is great too! He said I needed a couple of old fillings fixed but he’s conservative and doesn’t force a bunch of unnecessary procedures on you, which I love. I got the fillings fixed and had another great experience. They asked how I was doing, gave my jaw a break if needed.
My husband also went and loved them so I referred my mom too and she’s super happy as well! I hope to never go to a different dentist again! They cured my dental fears!

Recommend this place for your dental needs. Location is good, stuffs are friendly and educational.
It is a clean office and Dr. Koh explains every steps he preform, which makes you feel safe.
Only one tip is that schedule your appointments early, because their schedule may go out 2 month ahead. Right now, they don’t open on Friday and weekends.

Dr Koh is the best dentist I’ve ever had and I’ve been to many. He is very skilled and does beautiful crownwork. He also cares about his patients’ comfort. His staff including his hygienist and assistants are also excellent. The whole office runs efficiently and is very comfortable.

First-​rate in every aspect — comfortable office atmosphere, smiling staff that were very welcoming and kind, and the professional, caring experience of Dr. Koh. After listening to the wussy cries of this grown baby, Dr. Koh’s calm demeanor and gentle guiding through the procedures helped relax my butterflies and give full trust in this masked man.

This is coming from a girl who has unexplainable fear of the dentist, and who also doesn’t have dental insurance. (bummer, I know.) I needed to go to the dentist because I had somehow chipped a tooth towards the back and it was bothering me, and saw a coupon for free cleaning, x-​rays, and bells and whistles for new patients, and since I don’t have a dentist in this area, I made an appointment.
It turns out I had a cavity, and through some miracle it made the crack/​chip in my tooth. I made the appropriate appointment to get a filling. I came back, terrified for no reason. The previous reviewer is right, Dr. Koh is caring but I felt his casual attitude didn’t help calm me down any. It took 4 shots to finally numb me and halfway through the procedure, he stopped. Apparently this cavity was too big and now I needed a root canal. Um. Couldn’t he have seen this from the x-​ray? All I got that day was a temp filling and another appointment. The next appointment finally rolls around, and (again) I have to get 5 shots to numb my mouth. I had never had a root canal before so I was even more nervous, but still the same casual attitude from the Dr. This tactic may work on some people, but it didn’t help me. At all. Again, halfway through the procedure he has to stop. This time, he is not educated and qualified enough to proceed and doesn’t have good enough tools to finish. Are you kidding me? Again, a temp filling until I make an appointment with an endodontist. (Who, by the way, had a way better bedside manner for those terrified of the dentist.) The only condolence he offered is that they wouldn’t charge me for the appointment. Wow.
I find that all dentists seem to find the most expensive solution when it comes to your teeth. When discussing my options when I found out I needed a root canal, I found his suggestions a bit strange. He took into consideration that I had no insurance and this being an expensive procedure he offered me another option: to remove the tooth. Obviously, later, I would have a fake one put in, but until then just go around missing a tooth. I would rather fork out 1500 bucks than be missing a tooth that would probably be just as expensive when I get a fake one put back in. I felt it an unreasonable suggestion.
This all took a little over 2 months since I had to keep re-​making appointments and they were booked solid or on vacation for the week. Maybe Dr. Koh would be more pleasant under a not-​so-​stressful situation (for me) but I probably won’t be making any more appointments with him.
A plus about the office is that they do give a tiny discount for people who don’t have insurance. It was still very expensive.
