The owner is really cool. I have a z71 Tahoe that needed a few things replaced. I took it in and the owner helped me replace something simple and showed me how to do it for free. I will be taking my vehicle back here next time something happens. Very helpful shop and very friendly service!

Good service when they have done oil changes in the past. But today I got there there at 7:55 (opens 8:00), and there was no manager to open the shop. Employees were there ready to work but no manager to let them in. Delivery truck waiting to make deliveries and two other customers waiting for service. I ended up leaving at 8:11 and still no manager.

Disappointing. I had come here previously because it had been conveniently located and it was just okay. Now I come in on Sunday and they are unexpectedly closed before their normal business hours say and I ask why, and I get a bad attitude from the manager and some bad excuses as to why they are closing. There was not even any apologetic gestures or comments. For those near fairwood wa or Renton, other near by lube shops will gladly take your money with smiles on their faces during normal business hours. Avoid this place, I will, that is for sure.

Unbelievably disappointing. These guys have absolutely no idea what they are doing. I’ve been going here for the past 8 years, the service is usually, you get what you pay for, but now it’s just plain awful. I will be going elsewhere from now on…

Don’t ever take your car here! I brought my Mazda 3 in to have the oil changed because I was way over the mileage to have it done and I didn’t have time to take it back to the dealership to have it done (which is what I usually do). BIG MISTAKE. They try to up sell you on EVERYTHING, told me I needed to replace my air filter and have the transmission fluid replaced (which would have been about and extra $ 200 on top of $ 75 for having synthetic oil put in). I had them replace the air filter but when I drove my car out of the lot I noticed it made a really low rumbling sound, almost like they had put a different exhaust on it because it now sounds like a race car. I called my dealership to see what it would be and they said it sounds like they left off a cap to something. So now I get to take my car back to the dealership to have them fix it and do it right because I will never let these guys touch my car again. Just save yourself some time and money and don’t go here.

One of my headlights was out. I bought the bulb, took it to Grease Monkey and they switched it out for free in 10 minutes! There was apparently even a complication (the part to screw it in was bent) and they fixed that while they were in there.

I’ve been using them for the last year. Nice service, fast, and reasonable.

We’ve taken two cars here. The first car seemed to be fine after the oil change. Our second car, however, showed signs of a sloppy oil change. When we went out of town to visit our uncle (who manages an car shop), his shop did our next oil change. They found the car had been leaking oil due to a loose oil pan replacement. We suspected things weren’t great there when we picked up the car and asked about needing new windshield wipers. They said they looked good. On inspection you can see where the blades are ripping apart.
Despite its fantastic location — we will not be bringing our cars back here.

Reasonable price, in and out quick, no hassles.
Got an oil change for a late model Jeep recently. No problems with exception of small drip from oil drain plug when I got home.

Did they change my oil and top off my fluids? Yes. Were they quick? Absolutely! Was the price for service fair? Sure.
But…
Did they vacuum the interior and wash the windows as advertised? Nope. And on top of that they left oily handprints on my seats.

I’ve come here on and off over the years and the service has always been friendly and prompt. For the cost, it’s affordable and I do see coupons often, so those help out when times are tough.

Grease Monkey is quick and service people are friendly. I have been about 10 times between my car and my wife’s car. They always try to sell you a new air filter or cabin filter, so just tell them «just the oil change today.»
Also — there is always coupons. They are also good about honoring coupons you dont bring in. So just say you got a coupon in the mail and forgot it.
My only complaint is that even if you get full synthetic they still tell you to come back in 3.000 miles. You obviously don’t Full synthetic is good for at least 5−7K.
They do have coffee, water, and popcorn — but I dont touch any of it.

Stay away from here (unless you want your car to be seriously jacked up).
So this place is in my neighborhood and I have gone here every 3−5k miles for the last several years. The last couple of times I have been there, they totally messed up costing me money, and possibly safety!
1) About 1 year ago, I took my car here and the next day I had white smoke coming out of my exhaust… not a little white smoke, a LOT. Like I could have been pulled over for pollution or sent to emissions!
Took my car into the shop and they said that there was 10 quarts of oil in my car!!!
Ummm the recommended amount for an oil change is 5 quarts, so they doubled that! This caused my spark plugs to need changing which cost me $ 350 at the mechanics!
The manager was not helpful and basically denied that it was their fault, even though I had not taken my car anywhere else, much less lifted the hood myself.
2) Stopped by here to have tires checked on my way out for a road trip and they overfilled the tires. 50psi, and my tires say to do 40psi.
3) Came in for an oil change and they didn’t top off my washer fluid.
I know, I know, STOP going there! I am officially done with this Grease Monkey and will NEVER go back again.
I don’t know what the hell is going on in this place… don’t you people have a checklist that you should be working off of?

Talk about awesome! If you need to get your oil changed and are crunched for time, this is the place to go. From the time I pulled into their parking lot to the time I left, I had to have been there for no more than 15 mins. The guys were very friendly and they didn’t say anything about me going far over my 3 month mark. And no pressuring me to add this or fix that. Grease monkey is my new go-​to place to get my oil changed.

i am a big fan of these guys. they are always super courteous, make eye contact, are honest with what i need & what can wait, and never try to talk me into a service i don’t want. when i forget my coupon postcard, they take my $ 5 off anyway. they will top off fluids & put air in my tires for free anytime. i’ve been a customer for 3 years now and i’ve never once had a complaint. i usually have a 10 – 15 minute wait and there are plenty of trashy magazines to read in the lobby. love it!

It seems like every time I sit down in the waiting room my name is called and the car has the oil change done, freshly vacuumed and windows cleaned. If you need a quick oil change this is the place. The manager was very personable and changed a fuel filter on my car for about a quarter of the cost of my mechanic, so I’ll be seeing these guys every few thousand miles.
