I have finally got around to writing the review I’ve been meaning too. I concur with all the other reviews except Mr. Botch or Bosch or whatever. He seems like the type who still needs his Mommy to help him through life.
In any case, Chi is AMAZING! Yes she was up front about the fee — that’s how she pays the bills. Yes she was short and to the point. do you want to waste time and money sitting there? Yes, everything about my bankruptcy was handled promptly, professionally and with an unanticipated positive outcome — I was able to file Chapter 7 instead of 13. I had no idea that was going to be possible! I talked to my friend who went through the same process a year earlier and he was PISSED! Oh well… didn’t go to Chi.
Another thing — she also spent a fair number of hours helping me interpret language in my mortgage contract so I could proceed with a modification. Again — she cares about the CLIENT first and foremost.
One other thing — another way she saves YOU money — texting. And I don’t blame her for ignoring texts of clients that haven’t paid.
I hope I have no other need for an Attorney, but if I do… I am calling her first.

All I can say is that Chi Nguyen is a professional in the law that she practices. She is a good attorney, being business like and personable. I came to her on the advice of my daughter. I decided to give her a call and we set up an appointment, lucky for me that she happened to be in the office because she is usually in court representing her clients.
I just read some reviews and I’m not sure why the one negative review because she treated me well.
Chi is good at what she does and that is she represented me as a client in court, I didn’t even have to be there.
While speaking with her on the phone, I decided to retain her as an attorney on my case as she sounded professional and knowledgeable.
I brought everything that she asked, looked them over and she told me everything up front — the costs and what to expect of the outcome. She is prompt and courteous and she did everything that she said that she would do. She always replied to my phone calls and text — depending on which we had agreed to and set up. She would let me know ahead of time if there were changes or anything else that would be involved.
With Chi, everything was up front. She got my ticket dismissed and also refunded me like 90% of the fees that were refundable (I think that it had something to do with administrative cost.
I feel that Chi is an excellent attorney and with her you will know what to expect and what to expect of her. She is honest and did me a great service.
And to the one star, no one asked me to write this and it isn’t a fake.

Unreasonably condesending. called office several times with no answer. Chose to text message to set up an appointment, as lawyer had texted me once before… after I called with no answer. She texted me. I aslo texted with her a few times after that. She advised me rudely via text that I was not a client and that I shouldnt be texting her. She was the one that texted me after I called her no answer phone service. So I thought I would do the same as she did to me previously and text her letting her know I would like to set up an appointment. Very unprofessional and condesending. I had an consultation previously that went okay at best. Lots of information thrown at me, with very little advice. I decided to go with her anyway as I felt she was knowledgeable enough to handle everything and because of the good reviews on here. I had to wait a few months so I could get the funds together to pay up front. As they wanted the whole amount upfront. Well i was ready to move forward with her services, but I refuse to be spoken too in a condesending manner. I am very honest and respectful person. At no time did my behavoir warrant condesending and rude texts. If you dont want someone texting your phone you shouldn’t be texting people either! Its hypocritical! Just say… «please call to set up an appointment» I dont need to be spoken to like that a child., I could see it in her eyes she didnt seem to sincere or have much compassion to began with… but I figured generally most people judge me initially as I have a tendency to come off naïve. Its mainly because of my down to earth, laid back nice guy characteristics. Although it was a mistake… Should of trusted my feelings with the first impression with the lack of compassion. The explaination below is not how she responded to me. She was rude. I am perfectly okay with calling. I chose to text her as she used text before so I thought that was a okay or maybe her preference. Again, I called her office and it went right to voice mail as it has many times before. The point was she was very rude and condesending. Like I was sending her selfies at 2am or something. I was just trying to get help with this. I was perfectly ok with calling and leaving another voicemail. She also the message below has random information that isnt relevant. As she acts if she didnt know who was texting her, but I identified myself in the text I sent and she has no issue remembering who I am now as she uses my last name below. I have since been working with another lawyer and who isnt so moody and has compassion, integrity and respect. They also have someone answering the phones. I wouldnt recommend her at all. At least not during her pre menstrual cycle. Also, it is my belief that most of the other reviews are pretty sketchy as the reviewers reviewing have very little other reviews or the one that only created a Unilocal account to post one review? That usually means that the reviews are fake, heavily unfluenced or maybe close friends. Also, 3 of these reviews popped up right after my negative review. 4 of which dont have pictures on there profile and only a few other reviews which usually means they are fake or baited by friends.

Attorney Diem Chi was very professional, personable, and delivered what was promised. I came to her with some help to contest a collections bill that I was not aware of. She handled my case with care and guided me through the entire process. She was very patient, understanding and never once had I felt that I was just another client in her book. She kept the relationship professional but she was very personable. My case was taken care of in a timely manner and not only was my name cleared from the collections, but my «overdue» ticket was also taken care of. I would definitely return with other legal issues and highly recommend DC Nguyen Law!

I recently received my first speeding ticket. Feeling frustrated and lost, a friend referred me to Chi for help. As busy as she is with probably more way more important cases, Chi took great care in helping me with this small legal matter. With her expertise the ticket was dismissed and my record remains clean. If she took so much care in such a small matter, I can only imagine how great she is on bigger cases. Thanks Chi and DC Nguyen Law. Highly recommended.

We recently decided it was time to file for bankruptcy. This was in it’s self traumatic. Then having to find a competent Lawyer was not something we were looking forward to either. The first person we interviewed was very vague regarding costs and fees. We actually stumbled onto Chi and then looked up her qualifications on Linked in. We went for a consultation and instantly got a good feeling in regards to her knowledge of all things law. We felt she was a real person, very approachable but also very professional. There was full disclosure regarding her fees and they were extremely reasonable. We were never nickle and dimed. She thoroughly explained the process and our options, provided resources and kept us aware of what was needed and when. I would say that because of here competency the entire process was very smooth. It turned out exactly as she said it would. We truly would recommend her to anyone needing legal services.
