Because of the negative reviews, I thought I would post.
Firstly, the front desk ladies were great. Whatever problems there were in the past, they are no more. I got in on time.
My MRI tech was Tammy. AWESOME! I failed the first closed MRI. You cannot put an apex predator ape into a closed MRI. Bad idea. I lasted 20 seconds at CDI Northgate.
Open MRI is a TOTALLY different story. Other than being a bit squished in the open MRI, no problem. Tammy was great. I messed up by breathing too hard on the second scan and she fixed it all. In full disclosure I had a cervical MRI which Tammy tells me is the hardest one to do. Even with my mess up, she was very kind and understanding.
Further, I really enjoyed the Pink Panther cartoons during the scan. Biggest problem, I almost burst out laughing three times watching it, which would ruin the scan.
After the disaster of closed MRI, I can’t speak highly enough of CDI Renton. It was just great. Plus there’s a great Indian buffet on the same block when you get done. That was very good.
Thank you CDI Renton, and give Tammy a raise. She was lovely and kind.

The few reviews on this site relate to issues with front desk/​reception rather than the MRI etc performed. I am a SENIOR and this was my first MRI (spine). I am claustrophobic and prone to panic attacks. I traveled to Renton because I wanted the upright MRI. Tammi was the technician and she totally worked with me, my issues and went out of her way to make me feel comfortable during the procedure. She was kind, gentle and professional. BTW I had no problems with Reception.

Unilocal doesn’t offer no stars so I had to give a one, after making an appointment weeks earlier I got a phone call that they were running 30 minutes late, ok so I show up when they suggested 45 minutes late and after waiting for another 45 minutes they offered me a coffee voucher for a coffee shop next door because they were yet postponing me again. My understanding is this is one of only a few places that offer standing MRI’s so you might be stuck with this places disfunctionality.

The front desk completely ignores you when you walk up. After about 15 minutes of waiting, a woman in front of me asked the receptionist «do you know how long it’s going to be? I’ve been here for an hour».
The receptionist let her know that there was only one tech running 2 rooms, and that it would be about 5 – 10 more minutes. 10 minutes later she said «about 10 – 15 more minutes ma’am.»
An hour and five minutes of waiting later, I was called back to get my MRI by a pleasant, but extremely talkative tech. No sense of urgency. I would not recommend this place to anyone who can avoid it.

What a 1^st experience! Never coming back here again… waited about 45 minutes, than went up to the counter to ask how much more longer and they said 30 minutes… so I told them I’ll be back in 30 minutes! Ugh… bad front desk associates also… has no customer service !!

Had to come here after a car accident and I just move to this state. I didn’t know much information and receptionist wasn’t helpful in locating the place. Another place I went to mistakenly walked me here.
Tried to check in and the same receptionist was rude and abrasive. Didn’t have any of my information and I was suggested to come here. She was short, not friendly and if I didn’t need the X-​rays for my car accident to make sure I was ok I would have walked out of this place.
I’ll never come to this place again. My experience in Washington is getting worse and worse and this added to it.
