They were the lowest bid for cutting down a huge tree 100 foot plus tree in my backyard.
The estimator was inexperienced and priced removing a fence with the quote. When the actual workers arrived they didn’t have to remove the fence but did not adjust the price. The also were going to leave the wood chips, however they also brought all the woodchips from all their previous jobs for the day. I did not want to them to dump them also and they told me they had to or we couldn’t keep out wood chips. They were planning to dump the woodchips for free instead of paying the dump. Kind shady. They also cut the tree into logs that were too long for out city code. The wood chips issue and they were very reticent about giving me a receipt for the work completed, just seemed a bit shady
