Yummy, yummy, yummy! This MBC catered by Blend Catering was not only delicious but super fun because we weren’t in an actual restaurant this time. Donna and Kemp graciously opened their home to our breakfast club. Their backyard and game room space made for an excellent gathering area.
The food was great. It was a Mexican themed breakfast buffet where you could make your own breakfast taco. Definitely a little bit of something for everyone. The potatoes were especially tasty. Everything was fresh and flavorful.
We had coffee and of course the fabulous breakfast «bar». There were Bloody Mary’s with fresh celery from Donna’s garden. My favorite were the various juice Mimosa’s. I had a grapefruit with a dash of St Germain Mimosa — now that is how you start the day!

Robert continues to impress with the Breakfast Club events, and the idea to bring caterers into the mix was a terrific one! Thanks to Donna and Kemp for once again opening their lovely patio and home to their fellow Unilocalers – it was lovely to spend a Saturday morning with good people. The food was really tasty! I was especially impressed with the scrambled eggs, which may have been the creamiest I’ve ever had. Though the food was terrific, at the price point we were at, I expected a bit more from Blend; for the money, it seemed to me that they should have provided more in terms of presentation and service. Overall, though, it was a lovely gathering, and good company made up for the price.

Background — Monthly Breakfast Club is a must! And you add Blend formerly Dough. YEAH great combo. Wait for it, the trifecta, no restaurant crowds as we were in the backyard of Donna and Kemp’s!

Drinks — Orange juice with St. Germain, never had that before. My wife is like we need to buy that stuff.
Food — Buffet style breakfast taco bar. Brilliant, easy self-​service, and the variety was great. I was all about the pork, I had to go back for the second one.
Service — Thanks to Blend for cooking such a great meal. Thanks Donna and Kemp again for hosting this event. Robert another very successful event!
Future –Yes I can not wait next one.

Many thanks to Donna S and «hubby» whose name I have to write down so I don’t forget… for opening their home for this event. It was a beautiful morning for «breakfast on the patio,» and a very beautiful back patio.
MBC Blend Catering prepared a delicious breakfast. Scrambled eggs with cheese, roasted potatoes and chorizo, pork and onions for the tortillas. All the fixins’ were there as well, salsa verde, pico de gallo, etc. And, the guacamole was to die for. Just spicy enough. And, as usual it was a great social morning.
Bloody Mary Bar and Mimosa’s were available. But later Angela (not me) made a drink with coffee ice cubes (shaped in Unilocal logo), White Chocolate Vodka and Bailey’s. Wow was that good. I tasted it but couldn’t have it and drive too. So I stopped at one Bloody Mary.
I can’t imagine when I’d need a caterer, but if asked, I would recommend Blend catering…
Thanks Robert S for organizing this event. This was the first breakfast I’ve been to, but will plan on coming again.

Another yummy MBC
The first breakfast not in a restaurant. Robert had Blend Catering prepare a special brunch menu for us. The food choices were incredible. And so much food. Great flavors for the potatoes and adobe. Chips with fresh guacamole, salsa, and pico. Make your own taco. I wished I could begin to describe the flavors of this Mexican feast. Add to the goodness with a Bloody Mary bar and mimosas.
Great group of friends and able to spend a relaxed Saturday morning, perfect day. It was so nice so spend a leisure morning eating and hanging out with friends. No rush to turn tables over for lunch.
Also thanks Robert for ordering the perfect weather.
Look forward to seeing everyone next month at the lake MBC.
