It’s #RelayForLife season and I’m pumped up to join #DalesDefenders as we rise to the top, raising money that will help the American Cancer Society with research and other essential services for the people they serve.
If you’re wondering where our team name came from, just ask Dale G, the incredibly strong willed and all around awesome dude who not only made cancer his bitch last year, but right after that joined the ACS leadership to make Relay For Lofe 2016 bigger and badder than ever! Is there anything he can’t do?
We think not! He’s a culinarian, a chef, a wine and whiskey lover, an adventurer inane senses of the word, and the most genuine, generous and authentically friendly person you’ll ever meet. Dale is an inspiration to us all!
I’m very proud to be a part of the team again this year and welcome you to join me! We’ll be raising money from now on, and Id be happy to send you the link to our fundraising page. If you’d like to support #DalesDefenders in any other way, just say it! We need team all sorts of team support and would love to spend the day with you!

Thank you Old World Coffee for helping support the American Cancer Society! I love Old World Coffee. The feel of this place is so relaxing and the coffee is, well, it is just off the hook. I absolutely love it! This morning I had the Old Pine. Delicious! It was a great morning to share coffee with awesome friends and knowing that it was helping the ACS just made it taste that much better.
Thanks Dale for the first cup! Knowing you are kicking cancers ass and seeing you with a big smile this morning made the coffee extra special. :)

Background — Dale hosting a UYE, yes! Wait he is buying the first cup too. CAFFEINE!
Atmosphere –Just a warm inviting place and you add Dale as the host what a great vibe.
Drinks — Ethiopian coffee Cemex style. I am a fan of the North African coffees and this had such a mellow feel to it. I wanted a second cup but this one had me buzzing already, strange how fast that one got me.
Service — On point and great. Of course thanks Dale for hosting this event at his favorite coffee place. Thanks to Old World for supporting American Cancer Society. Drinking coffee never felt so good!
Future — Yes please.

It could not get any better — coffee with some of Reno’s (and Unilocal’s) finest, and one of the best coffee spots in town, on a crisp cool morning — and all for a good cause.
What a great idea to get to have a cup of coffee (thanks Dale) and be able to support the American Cancer Society all at once. The opportunity to schmooze with friends is just an extra added bonus.
Thanks also for Old World Coffee for supporting the efforts of ACS. I love how our community is pulling together to do what we can to keep Dale with us for a very very long time!
