Trinity Tactical is Northern Nevada’s PREMIER tactical and defensive firearms training site. At Trinity Tactical, we take your firearms training seriously. Our instructors are all former law enforcement and military veterans with over 60 years of combined training experience. Whether your weapon of choice is handgun, home defense shotgun or tactical carbine, or you wish to obtain your Nevada CCW permit, our instructors have the experience and knowledge necessary to fully prepare you to defend yourself and your loved ones. We have classes for ALL experience levels from the novice shooter who has never picked up a firearm to the armed professional wanting to refine and expand his or her gun handling skills. Gary Underhill, Trinity Tactical’s lead instructor is both NRA Law Enforcement Division and Nevada State Private Investigator Licensing Board Firearms Instructor certified. History

Established in 2012.

Trinity Tactical LLC was established in 2012 after it’s owner and lead instructor, Gary Underhill returned from service in Iraq and subsequently retired after 26 years in law enforcement.

Business Owner

Gary is a retired 26 year veteran law enforcement officer, with assignments as a Patrol Officer, Field Training Officer, SWAT Team Operator, Hostage Negotiator, Gang Crimes Investigator, and DARE Officer. Gary served tours in both Afghanistan and Iraq in 2001 – 2002 and 2009 – 1010. Gary is currently the owner and Senior Firearms Instructor at Trinity Tactical LLC and is a NRA Law Enforcement Certified Firearms Instructor, Nevada Concealed Weapons Permit Instructor and Certified Firearms Instructor for the State of Nevada Private Investigator Licensing Board.
