The Butcher’s Choice of Nevada

Well, we will have to chalk this up to a very expensive lesson learned. First off they are door to door meat salesman, that should be the first clue. They preyed on a very young girl at work alone with a $ 419.00 beef package that they were offering for $ 254.00. Upon weighing her purchase, she paid $ 12.00 per pound. Keep in mind her purchase included ground beef. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND SEND THEM PACKING IF THEY SHOW UP AT YOUR DOOR!!!

ABSOLUTE GARBAGE MEAT!!! DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! These people rip people off and sell bad meat for outrageous prices! They’re «deals» are just to get your money! Then they don’t return your phone calls. Poor quality meat and poor customer service! The guy didn’t look far from a felon either!

Wow — we thought Butchers Choice was great! we were concerned about the door to door approach (Im not an easy sell) but since they were willing to sell us only the seafood and steaks we wanted and negotiate on the cost, we felt it was a good buy. keep in mind our house is in the mountains 2 hrs from a Costco or anything close to its size so our food choice are usually limited. We have tried the huge lobster tails, tilapia and NY steaks. All were delicious, very fresh and flavorful.
Yes $ 300 may seem like alot, but for 4 v large lobster tails, four large New York steaks, large bags of jumbo shrimp, bay scallops, popcorn shrimp and 12 – 16 tilapia fillets, and a whole cheesecake we are v happy. we checked out other websites and the company has good reviews.

I bought this meat from a gentleman coming to my door. First mistake but lesson learned.
The meat that was represented as beef is questionable. It tastes very gamey. After 5 attempts to reach the company on the phone, received 1 call back via voicemail. Continued to play phone tag until I gave up. Per his v/​m they are only open till 1:30 pm. No resolution and no follow up ever from the company.
My reason for leaving this post is don’t fall for their mastery of no customer service. Once the deal is sealed it is all they care about.
