Mike is the best! Wonderful experience. Absolutely no complaints! This is the only way I will ever travel from now on between Reno and South Tahoe. Comfortable bus, on time, friendly driver and reasonable price.

2.5 stars is way too low for this business. I am giving them 4 stars. I had a very good shuttle trip and I was dropped off right at my hotel. One way to South Lake Tahoe cost $ 29.95
It was my first time flying in to Reno and I was able to find the shuttle check in area right away.
The people working at the counter were super helpful. My ticket was accidentally purchased for the wrong day, it showed the travel day as the day it was purchased. I was able to get on the bus with no additional charge or hassle.
There is a bit of a waiting area separate from the main airport waiting area. There is also an area to stow your luggage so you can move around the airport freely while you wait for the shuttle.
The actual shuttle I took was a full size bus. I used the service on a Thursday afternoon in March and there was plenty of room on the bus for gear and for people. The bus was less than half full.
My only complaint, and it is a small one, the bus was overly deodorized. The deodorizer smell was too strong. They could probably skip the deodorizer for a month or so and let the bus air out. The bus was an older bus, big and bright green.
I would recommend this service and I would use it again. It was nicer than other airport shuttles I have taken in other areas.
In my opinion, for one person, it is easier to use South Tahoe Airporter than renting a car to drive up to South Lake Tahoe. This was an efficient, easy ride, and the price was right.

Formerly known as the South Tahoe Express. Been using this service for 25+ years out of the Reno airport with no issues. Some of the drivers are a bit more gruff than others but the overall service has remained top-​notch. Take your time when booking via the website and you will be fine.

I booked this the night before and in the morning my friend who was dropping me off, her car wouldn’t start at first. This caused us to be 2 minutes late. Knowing I would be two minutes late I called them about 10 times but there is no possible way to get in touch with the driver. I show up… yes, 2 minutes late, and miss my ride. I’ve been 2 minutes late on other shuttle services and they’ve always called to see if I’m close before leaving. I called to see if I could get a full or partial refund since I ended up spending money for an über in addition to the amount spent on the shuttle. I received no return call or return email to the email I sent. Customer service across the board here is terrible. Won’t use them again.

Horrible and rude customer service. At 7:30, another passenger walked up to the desk to ask if the bus was going to leave on time for our 7:30 departure because her and her daughter had been waiting outside and had lugged all their bags way out to the bus across the parking lot. The driver rudely responded that she should drag all her bags back because he couldn’t load her where the bus was parked. She then asked if we would still be leaving at 7:30 and the driver said that we would leave when he was ready to leave. I’ve never heard such disrespect from a company providing service to paying customers.
What’s worse is we departed 15 min late because that’s when the driver got around to it.

Reasonably good service and much cheaper than paying for a rental car plus hotel parking. Be warned that it takes a long time. It took us 1 hour and 45 minutes in excellent weather from getting picked up at the Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel to arriving at the airport. Easily a 2+ hour trip in bad weather. The bus was actually nicer than I expected — it was full size and the interior was nice. Would use them again.

I was scheduled on the 12:47pm shuttle from Mont Bleu to the Reno airport. Shuttle still had not arrived by 1:30pm so I had to find another ride. I call for a refund the next day and they tell me they have a no refund policy even if their shuttle doesn’t show up. Mmmm Kay

I bought a ticket for my son on the 12:27 shuttle. 2 and a half hours before his flight. The 12:27 never came. Many people were stranded. The Harrahs Hotel where the shuttle was to pick up had called the Shuttle company and were told that they did not know what had happened to the 12:27 shuttle. But that the next shuttle scheduled 1 ½ hours later would pick them up. My son and the others that were stranded tried to call the SOUTH TAHOE AIRPORT EXPRESS offices but there was no answer and no phone calls were returned. Needless to say my son missed his flight. Had to book another on another airline. Total of $ 415.00 waisted. If you read the «terms and conditions» it says that they can cancel or change a schedule without notice. Stupid me for depending on a service where it’s only job is to get you where you need to go and then will take no responsibility for its lack of dependability or customer service. Very stressful and expensive experience. Better to pay for a private car. DO NOT DEPEND ON SOUTH TAHOE AIRPORTER EXPRESS!!!

It’s great for getting to the airport or back to Tahoe. The driver was extremely rude and disrespectful, if u have other options for transportation to and from I recommend the alternative. I will never use this service again. I asked for the drivers name and he wouldn’t even give it to me. Responding only with driver.

I was very disappointed with the service I received. I booked a shuttle, and was given confirmation that my shuttle was reserved. When I arrived, I found out from the very RUDE customer service agent that my shuttle had left. I was denied a refund. 4 separate customers (whom were also confirmed on the same shuttle) were told the same thing as they approached the representative. There were then 5 confirmed and reserved passengers whom were abandoned by the same shuttle. All of us were likely no more than 5 minutes late due to flight delays. (I figure the representative was so rude because he must deal with unhappy customers quite often… its too bad the company he works for sets him up for this)
I ended up paying a taxi to get me to my destination… in addition to the money I lost on the South Tahoe Airporter.
I attempted to contact the company with my issue a few days later and have yet to receive a follow-​up email nor response.
I will NEVER book with this company again, nor do I recommend it to anyone. I believe that if they cannot provide the service I paid them for, they should refund my money.
It was a terrible experience.

I cannot believe this business wasn’t listed on Unilocal just yet!
I arrived RNO a few hours ago for « Unilocal’s Tahoe Getaway» this weekend, and I’m currently en route to Tahoe via this company’s shuttle. I missed the 3:30pm shuttle due to a flight delay, but it wasn’t a problem to get on the 4:45pm shuttle instead.
I called to make a round-​trip reservation the day before my arrival and spoke to Kalina, who was very sweet and patient with all of my questions. She answered them all and then booked my round-​trip shuttle service over the phone.
Mike is our driver and as he said, he’s «a good driver and Kalina is a good people-​person.» That works for me!
We’re just approaching a very scenic part of the trip, so I’m going to stop typing and go check out the gorgeous views, but no complaints from me so far… If you’re looking for a reliable and moderately priced shuttle transport from Reno to Tahoe, I recommend this company. It is worth noting that I’m using my own wi-​fi though. I don’t believe there is wifi on the shuttles.
