Came back and even though I still like the feel of the bar and what staff I know, I have to admit I will miss MaryAnn

Ah, Shooters, how wonderfully cheap and fun you are. 3 gin and tonics, a Coors Light, and a shot of Jameson — $ 21. Gotta love Reno. They decorated the place for Halloween very well(cobwebs, wall paint, a few props), and all in all, this place is a fun dive. They’ve got a pool table and a nice bartender. I’m not really going to ask for more. If you want frills, you’re not in the right city. If you want cheap drinks and a good time, Shooters will do the trick. The pool table takes quarters and is only 75 cents per play. The only downsides that I can see are the people that tend to hang out outside and the McDonald’s next door(the smell of grease sits in the air like its stale, chemicalized food). I guess it doesn’t make a difference after a few drinks.

Came in on a Sunday, a slower night. But the bartender, Mary Ann, made our night wonderful. Come in from San Francisco, she treated us better then the guys at the silver legacy. Very entertaining, very engaging and knowledgeable about drinks. As a female, she makes an effort for other females to feel welcome at a dive bar. I will come back to this bar for her.

This is the best bar to go to for your shifter after a long nights work. If you don’t bother anyone no one is going to bother you here. Unless you’re looking for a fun time the staff is super friendly just chat it up with Sandy, she is a sweetheart! Fun times with friends always!

Great bar with locals. Got some Bloody Marys after the brew fest. Very attentive bartenders. Would not expect this in Reno. Well played. I will come back.

Yes, it’s a dive bar, yes the chick behind the bar is drunk as all get out, but I wouldn’t expect anything else from a great dive bar in Reno

A loud and way drunk chick behind the bar and a dog running around. It’s 9:30. Not the place for a quiet drink but the country music would be good if the loud chick wasn’t so loud. Oh, and you had better like cigarette smoke. The bartender was sweet but I’ll be looking for another hangout.

Best dive bar I’ve been to in a long time! Pool and hula hoops. Haven’t hula hoop’d in ages. My people! So much fun. Hula hoop, air hockey, pool, whiskey and local folk. How can u beat it?

Really nice bartenders, decent variety of beers on tap, and I liked the margaritas. The moonshine-soaked cherry bombs-yum. Good people watching. Cash only. No kitchen but there’s a good Mexican restaurant next door. I learned how to hula hoop there!

Shooters is a bar you stumble into after a night of drinking! The bartenders are always down to have fun with the patrons. Most of the time there are girls dancing on the bar(sometimes the bartenders, sometimes the patrons). There are always weirdos hanging out in the bar. So watch your purses ladies. This is one of those bars that’s you end up at, then the next morning think… How did that happen!

The impression from the outside is completely different from the vibe inside. I went on a Saturday night around 11 – there was country music playing and it wasn’t too full. It’s a unique atmosphere for Reno considering that there are hula hoops you can use and air hockey if you’re feeling frisky.

As far as I’m concerned, this is the only bar in downtown Reno. Cheap drinks(PBR tall cans are two bucks), super friendly staff, pool table, hula hoops, table hockey, and no slots at the bar! Debit/Credit cards are not accepted though, so bring cash.

Came here during the Street Vibrations biker rally; place was always packed with a fun crowd. My girlfriend and I danced on the bar and had a blast! Drinks were stiff and reasonably priced, staff was friendly and the atmosphere was rowdy saloon chic. Definitely a fun place… if you’re looking for a small dive-bar feel in the midst of all the casinos, this is your spot!

When in Reno downtown, it’s a must go to. Heavy pours. Greater bartenders and all the fun you can handle! !

Its cool place. Sometimes the regulars think all the women from out of town want to getbdrunk and jump in the sack with them. Have you seen the local wildlife in Reno? Objectifying women, and beer. The bartender is nice, and the atmosphere is cool though, badass couches lots of mirrors, hoola hooping girls and bar dancing is encouraged.

Dive bar. Old-skool sofa with bits of stuffing falling out. Juke box. Bartenders that know how to whip ‘em up strong(order a Red Bull and Vodka, and they’ll put it in a pint glass, with only a tiny splash of Red Bull in it, «just for color,» they say…) Some of the most classic clientele of people in downtown Reno. A misting machine over the front entrance, which you can often feel spraying your face a bit as you’re walking by all the characters that hang outside of here and McDonald’s next door asking people for money. Need I say more? This place is awesome!

Who loves dive bars? This guyyy… I mean girl. But what makes Shooters Saloon different from the others? Even on a grossly barren Tuesday night(…it looked like a post-apocalyptic town… minus the destruction part), you’ll more than likely have a good time here. The bartenders are Reno OG and feel no shame whipping up stiff drinks. I truly believe every day is created equal and if you come with a smile and bring the energy, it will be full-heartedly embraced. Kick back and have a drink… or shot. Fancy a game of billiards? Grab some pool cues and go to work! Feel like dancin? Pump the jukebox with some silvers and browse their music selection, which ranges from boot-stompin country to booty-bumpin hip-hop. Drunk as hell and need something to do? Snatch up the hoola-hoops from the wall and get crazy. No bullshit. Just an awesome dive bar.
