This is a smaller local grocery store with all your standard needs. Another reviewer pretty much summed it up. Yup, they have a great deli. I get most of my produce and meats here. Fresh, clean, and good variety. They ocassionally have exotic veggies. I don’t think their prices are higher than comparable grocery stores. Let’s not compare to big box stores because the quality is not the same. I have never seen questionable looking produce(overly ripe) or meats(meats that are full of fat and are turning gray) in this store, and I cannot say the same for big box stores. They also carry grassfed beef, which makes a delicious meatball if you haven’t tried. But I will say that some of their beverages may cost a tad bit more here. The store is always well stocked and clean. Parking is ample and the cashier lines are never super long. Very convenient. Employees are always friendly.

One of the only Scolaris left. They are higher in price to the other local stores, but they carry Boar’s Head Meats. The deli will slice it and make sandwiches. They have just hired a new deli crew so things are a bit slower. The meat selection is a bit better than other markets for those items that they have on the weekly featured ad. They water down their produce much to often with the«trendy» thunderstorm, so one has to shake out the produce before bagging it. Cashiers are friendly and there is always a bagger to help.

I went here yesterday because they had the DMV kiosk I needed to renew my registration. It was about 7pm on a Monday. The kiosk was easy to find at the front of the store, near the east most entrance(I parked by the west entrance). Using the kiosk was fast and easy. There was no line and it was super easy to understand. After getting my registration, I walked around looking for some items on my shopping list. The store was clean and easy to navigate. We passed one employee in the back part of the store, and he didn’t ask if we needed help. Not a bad experience at the store. Definitely a little out of the way for me to make it a regular store to shop at.

I feel they are a little pricey for a grocery store chain. And are not very convenient. I bet I use this one two times a year on the way home for milk and maybe the occasional produce. The meat never looks appealing at the butcher counter nor is its prices. Even using coupons the bill here is higher than just using a Walmart. The parking lot is laid out in a diagonal to the store and is strange to get in and out of making the quick in and out not so fast. The store is clean inside but always seems dim.

If this were closer, it might just be our regular spot! This is most definitely an upscale Scolais. It is new and bright and airy and the aisles are not narrow and crowds, and carry upper end products. We have not checked out the meat selection here, but their deli meats are what brought us in — they carry Boar’s Head products which in MHO are top quality. The produce section was nice and the produce all seemed fresh — but nothing outstanding. The staff were all friendly and check-out was efficient — even though we had to wait on a very slow customer ahead of us with a very large order. Worth the trip to that side of town.

While I wouldn’t make this the main place to get groceries(prices are high unless items are on sale), I go here from time to time when I just need a few things and want to be in and out. I also had a $ 30 gift card that I wanted to use up so I went here a few times. I pretty much went here just for yogurts, milk, and some baked goods. Their Greek yogurts were each $ 1(the ones I bought anyway) which is around the same price of them if you bought them say at Walmart, Safeway etc. The real winner here is their bakery. They have cheap and yummy sweets there! I have gotten for $ 1(yes $ 1) a little container of around 8 mini(maybe 2×2) cherry strudel. I also got a small thing of 4 cupcakes really cheap(I hate how most supermarket bakeries either make you buy a ton of them or they are grossly overpriced to buy 2 or 3 single ones). Their cookie bars are deadly though! So moist and tasty. Wish I had the recipe. Parking here is easy and all the people working there are very nice. FUNOBSERVATION– Every time I have been in here, I have seen at least 2 very good looking men. I’m a single girl so it’s nice :)

I felt immediately compelled to write a review after reading the only other review, which was horribly done and in my opinion, not at all representative of this business. This is my local grocer, and it’s a great store. First and foremost, I dig the extremely close location. Location is key with grocery stores. Second, I find the produce department to be excellent, with a good selection of fairly priced organic produce(my wife insists on feeding our kids organic when possible). Thirdly: Great deli department. The ONLY place in town(that I currently know of) to buy Boar’s Head Brand deli meats and cheeses. If you’re making a sandwich at home, these deli meats and cheeses are the way to go. Top of the line, preservative and filler free. Again, the only thing my wife will get(or have me get) for the family. Lastly, Scolari’s is a local business, and has many local products.
