Ivy is amazing! Not only is she knowledgeable, not she is kind and patient. She explained the entire process starting with a gait analysis and then choosing several shoes that might work for me. In the end, I got a pair of shoes that are amazingly comfortable! I love the 14 day return policy too! Overall, a great experience. Looking forward to starting my training!

Great selection & customer service! Ivy was extremely helpful in getting fit for a new pair of running shoes. They have a couple of treadmills which are setup for analysis of your running gait, pronation, etc, which is essential for buying the correct shoes that fit your running needs and feet! They let you walk, run or whatever in several different models to get the shoe you like most. They offer a military discount, too! Highly recommend this store.

Ivy helped me and she was super knowledgeable and kind. She offered a gait analysis on their treadmills and then brought out 4 different pairs of shoes to help with my running. I was also having knee pain so she took the time to explain what was likely causing it and brought out a jk band to help with it. The store is inviting and all of the employees are kind and inviting.

I went here specifically for the free treadmill stride analysis. A friendly sales associate associate had me briefly jog on the treadmill while a camera recorded my foot placement. Based on that and a few basic questions, I was recommended several options. I tried on three different models and ran around the store to be sure of my choice. Go here expecting running specific shoes and accessories and helpful, friendly staff. Would return

First time to check out Reno Running Company today. I’m a beginner to running and came to buy compression socks. I was greeted by Joseph who was friendly and gave me info on the variety of compression socks they have on stock. Bought CEP compression socks and was able to look at the different GPS watch with Garmin FR235 in particular. Joseph was knowledgeable and very helpful. Will be back for more in the future.

This place is the coolest. We were lucky enough to get Corey to help us. This guy has the patience of a saint. Seriously. After he measured our feet (can’t believe I’ve been wearing the wrong size all these years!) and checked out our gait on the treadmill, he proceeded to work hard to find us the perfect shoes. After a few tries, hubby was set. Me? Not quite…
I don’t know what the heck gives with my feet but poor Corey brought me shoe after shoe to try on and wouldn’t quit until I found the perfect pair. At one point I apologized, and he basically said as long as I’m up for trying on more, he’ll keep bringing me more! I must have tried on 15 pairs! Poor guy. lol
Then, the magic happened. As soon as I put them on, before I even stood up, I knew they were the winners. I LOVE my new jogging shoes!!! And hubby loves his new shoes too!

The staff are very helpful. They have a great selection. Be sure to join the Running Club. They spoil you with loot and you get a discount on your purchases.

I am not a runner-​unless being chased by something large and angry. I needed comfortable trail shoes and Reno Running Company had them in stock; my spouse and I paid them a visit. The staff were very knowledgable about each brand of shoes and their fit which was a real time saver. My not so patient shopper husband ended up buying two pairs of shoes-​typically he barely can get through finding one pair of comfortable shoes before he is ready to leave. We returned a few days later and I purchased a pair for myself too! I even joined the run club-​you never know, we may decide to run for fun one day. Thanks for the great customer service!

I love the Reno Running Company! I love it so much I may just return tomorrow. I am a triathlete and therefore have a lot of running, biking, and swimming products. Of course I can always use more! Reno Running Co. is a top notch store that is geared to both the serious athlete and the newbie. As soon as we walked in we were greeted, offered help, and assisted. I browsed, picked up a few products, and then asked if they had a triathlon bag. They did not, but they said they would look into ordering a few. Talk about listening to the needs of their customers! My husband cannot stop raving about the store. When I am in need of new running shoes I will definitely make this store my first stop because they have an excellent selection of shoes for all kinds of runners, and you can even have your gait analyzed.

I don’t run, but want to start walking. I do stand on cement floors for 9 hours at work, have a previous foot injury and flat feet. A friend told me to go in, but I was intimidated. She told me not to worry. Was she right! Rob was welcoming and polite from the minute I walked through the door. Rob put me right at ease and made me feel so comfortable. Rob was caring in his questions and showed genuine concern for getting the right shoe for me. He wasn’t just trying to sell me some quick fix.
Rob did a gait analysis on the treadmill and then went over the pictures with me. He then got a shoe for me and it was instant relief! I had always bought shoes based on cushioning. I never thought about stability. Rob got the perfect shoe for me with both outstanding cushioning and great stability. Thank you again Rob for your outstanding customer service. I highly recommend Reno Running Company.

I’ve been standing in this store for almost 20 minutes (there is one lady behind the counter who keeps looking at me and two other customers so they aren’t busy) and no one has acknowledged me, the staff is not friendly. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

So I’ve only had my current workout shoes for $%#*$ years (I knew it was time to get a new pair when the rubber sole literally started to fall off) and I wanted a pair that fit me well. The gentleman who helped me was knowledgeable about the different styles of shoes and which fit would be best for me, based on my expected use for them. They also took a look at my run style on the treadmill and made sure the shoe had enough support so I didn’t pronate.
As it turns out after wearing the shoes today, it ended up not being that comfortable. They had told me that if it doesn’t feel good to bring it back within a week or so and they’ll be able to swap it out for something that’s better. That’s good to know and a nice policy! I’ll be back later this week to take them up on the offer.
Lastly I mentioned I was looking for a casual «get around town» shoe and didn’t really feel like spending a lot of $ on it. They have a clearance section for last year’s models which are 50% off, so I got a pretty comfy shoe for a good deal.

Had a great experience here getting a pair of running shoes. It was my first time in the store and the two employees helping me were very professional. They had me get on the treadmill to do a run analysis and then gave me an option of three different shoes to try on the treadmill. Spent time with each pair and finally left with a pair of new Brooks shoes.
It was really nice having employees help you that are actually long-​distance runners themselves. As a newcomer to running, felt like I could trust whatever they said. I’ll definitely be back and recommend the store.

Being a newcomer to running I was a bit apprehensive about finally spending a serious amount of money on shoes. I was helped by Joseph while there. He offered great advice and was extremely helpful. I know I’m a picky with shoes but he completely understood and made sure to offer me a great selection. If I’m ever in need of shoes while in Reno in again I’ll make sure to return.

What a great place! The owners Matt and Aimee were there greeting everyone. There I learned some great tips on running. (I said running, I am pure jogger)
I was wearing really crappy running shoes that hurt my feel so Matt had me go over to their Running Lab where he analyzed my walking etc. He also fit me correctly for shoes and helped my pick out the correct type of shoe for my insole. Turns out, I have been buying the wrong size shoe this whole time.
They also gave me some hints on breathing correctly which have really helped me.
And now I go to their Sunday Run. It meets every Sunday at 8:00a.m. and everyone there is very nice. What is also great about the Sunday Run, you get an extra 10% off merch.
Very friendly bunch of people here. You could buy shoes that aren’t as expensive somewhere else but I like all of the education and knowledge they provide. It’s your feet, you only get one pair of them, so you really better take care of them.

Love this store! From the owners to the exceptional and knowledgeable staff, they really demystify the running shoe shopping experience. I never walk out feeling like I was sold a shoe, I walk out knowing I have the best shoes to fit my running lifestyle. They take the time to listen to you, they know their product and the wide selection of shoes and apparel are awesome. Gait analysis available too. I enjoy supporting local, this is a wonderful place to do just that.

If you like to run then you’ll love this store. It’s all about running and they have everything that you will ever need. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They have a pretty good selection of shorts, shirts, and shoes.

I went in late on a Saturday night with complaints of heel pain and instead of insisting the problem had to be in my shoes, a SUPER helpful associate explained the possible causes, stretches and exercises to help it heal. He also put four different insoles in my smelly shoes and waited patiently for me to walk around and decide which felt best. I ended up walking out with $ 40 insoles (with a guarantee!) instead of having to buy new running shoes. If you’re looking for people who know their stuff and have your best interest in mind as a runner, check this store out!
I was also surprised to see they have crossfit and Olympic lifting shoes! I’ll definitely be back for those ;)

Good selection of shoes for heel strikers. Very small selection for forefoot runners like me.
It was pretty funny how one of the salespeople was trying to convince us that despite the fact that we want 0 — 4 mm drop shoes, we should try something higher. The reason being, that it is the only thing that they carry.
Other funny point was that they do not carry Newtons because «they are not convinced that the technology of the shoe is good». I am not even kidding, this is what they said. They will apparently carry Newtons once they are more convinced that it is the right kind of shoe.
You will get much much better service at the Eclipse Running where we bought all 3 pairs of shoes we needed.
