Reno Computer Fix

AMAZING! Not only will I never deal with anyone else! My Toshiba had a broken charging stem once before. I paid a $ 100 to a man to fix it (2 years ago, wish I could remember the name of the place). He told me that it wouldn’t last forever, and that if it broke again it would not be able to be fixed, except for by him… WELL HE LIED! Walked in to RCF on Wells, and low and behold they were not only able to fix it wonderfully, they couldn’t have been more helpful. Now I will be going back next month and purchasing my MAC from them! Don’t go to anyone else. They also called me during the week, because they debugged my computer as part of my fix! WOW! It’s one of those local businesses that I would hope NEVER closes! If you have any computer issues, GO TO THEM! Oh and my fix was only $ 100 ROCK STARS!

Was told be ready Friday or Sat. Called on Friday. Told back logged (told othwise when dropped off) will not even touch tell Tuesday. I with them cause quick turn around. Bad mistake. Very friendly when dropped off. Reason for 2 stars. Otherwise, just a lieing place.

The team here is knowledgeable, personable, and down to earth. I HIGHLY recommend them all the time! I had to go there 3 times and each one was quick, inexpensive, and left me raving on them and their customer service. Most of my computer problems that they have helped me with so far were centered around a Windows 8 update that didn’t have a true fix (made my laptop act like there was no such thing as wireless unless I restarted my computer several times & basically crossed all my fingers…) We ended up «upgrading» from Windows 8 to Windows 7 and that problem & a few other smaller issues all went away. ;) They also replaced some needed hardware another time. It was extremely quick & MUCH cheaper than I expected.
I love the fact that if your computer is still working, you can get into their cue to have it worked on and then bring it in to them the night before they are going to get to your computer. No waiting for a week without your computer just because there is a long waiting line! Plus the cue/​wait was shorter than I experienced before, too. They also do not talk down to you if you don’t understand something. Once you start talking with them, they seem like you have known them forever. They came highly recommended to me and I now highly recommend them to others. Absolutely the BEST customer service of any computer repair service (or most any other business… as far as that goes) that I have ever used!

Very sweet people, however, I did not share the same experience as everyone else. I had a problem with my Macbook Pro and brought it to them and they diagnosed it with at least three different problems that weren’t related. I was without my computer from September-​November. I finally decided to talk to another computer company and immediately they were able to diagnose the correct issue with it being a motherboard problem. After hearing this, I bought a new computer and hoped to get a return for the parts that Reno Computer Fix had me pay for when they weren’t the issue. Nice people, but I’ve had problem after problem with them.

These guys go above and beyond in customer service every time! A HUGE thank you to Justin who treats me like a person instead of an idiot (when he speaks computer talk my eyes glaze over) and he still is nice to me! HAHA. They are the best. period.

The workers here are so down to earth and truly nice. They gave us a great deal when my sister’a laptop needed a new hard drive and even worked with the idiotic warranty people from HP. Definitely your best bet for computer repair in Reno.

Justin and the staff are THE team to bring your computer gear to. No lines, no excuses, just great service. Fast, cost-​effective and. dare I say it… knowledgeable and honest (unlike the big boxes).
I shared a cup of java with my laptop (not advised, by the way) and the effects were immediate. If you’re like me, our devices are our lifelines now (when did that happen :-(). I brought my laptop in to Reno Computer Fix into the capable hands of Justin. Within 2 days, I have a clean, decaffeinated working laptop and was good to go.
