Reno Blinds & Repair

Looked up blind repair on Unilocal.JC Penney Custom drapery rods out of warrantee and inoperable due to renters. I know that with the majority of the reviews 5 STARS, thought I’d try them out. Dropped off 1 rod and repaired the next day. Danielle was very pleasant, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. Happy with the price and service. The 12 ft rod that covered an entire wall was a challenge for me. Robin arrived on time today as promised, and he repaired he rest of the rods in the condo. Saved me a bundle. Highly recommend this company !!

Not impressed. I’ve dealt with blinds repair people in the past who charge reasonable fees and stand behind their work, often with lifetime warranties on blinds they’ve repaired. I wish one of them had been available instead of Reno Blinds and Repair. RB&R came out, charged $ 100 for about 20 minutes of work, and then the blind broke 3 months later. When I followed up they told me their warranty is 30 days, and that their warranty is «generous.» It’s total B. S…as mentioned I’ve dealt with a number of much better repair people who really do stand behind their work. Furthermore, with the others I haven’t had repairs bust in just 3 months. I will never consider working with RB&R again and hope that other Unilocalers will look past their good Googe ranking for someone with better skills.

The repair girl is as good as it gets. She repaired my blinds and suggested some saving tips, and her prices were more than reasonable. It’s unheard of for a small business to try to save the consumer some $, but this girl did just that and I am a very happy customer. She is smart and has excellent entrepreneurial skills. I would handle my business in the exact same way. Too many small businesses gouge the consumer and that is why they go under. I learned a lot from her. :)

After my flooring people ended up breaking part of my shutters, I called Reno Blinds and Repair. They were very courteous, on time, and the repair went perfect. I could not say enough good things about them and highly recommend their service.

Just finished a 4k shutter installation on or home. All turned out well. We had to wait a bit longer for their brand to arrive, but it was 1500.00 cheaper and the finished product looks great. We’re buying more to finish out the house.

Excellent service! They were nearly half the price of local competitors and had my blinds fixed in just a few hours. I have super wide (84″) diamond cell (the honey-​comb type) that you can raise and lower from the bottom or from the top. They are about 15 – 20 years old but still in great shape. I thought I could fix it myself but only ended up frustrated and in a tangled spider web of tiny string. I looked all over the place for the string but you have to get it on-​line. By the time you get done ordering the sting (over $ 30 with shipping), spending 4 – 8 hours playing seamstress, getting frustrated enough that you just want to go buy new blinds and burn the ones you have, etc. I was just done. I handed off the blinds to them in a tangled mess thinking I was done for. To my surprise, I received a pleasant call from Danielle a few hours later letting me know they were finished. I picked them up and couldn’t be happier. New string, new clampy-​things that hold the string in place, etc. all neatly wrapped in plastic to keep the package all together. Very nice on the phone, very professional. I got a 24 hour turn around on blinds I dropped off!!! Most businesses deal in weeks, not hours!!! The bill was very reasonable. If all businesses were this good we would not need Unilocal

Reno Blinds recently installed shutters throughout most of our home. While we received proposals from several companies, we were the most comfortable with Reno Blinds, a locally owned company, who had very competitive pricing and among the best delivery/​installation times. We really liked the fact that the sales team (Danielle & Robin) also did the installation, so we got to meet the installers when they came to measure and provide a quote. Both Danielle and Robin were easy to work with, knowledgable, and responsive.

They lied to BBB about Everything!
It’s funny they said nothing about cursing
us out. STAY AWAY they are need money. We
believe they purchase the part on E-​bay. That’s
why we didn’t get a invoice. I made a mistake and
said they were trying to charge us $ 350 will it was
$ 450 for the restocking fee. BEWARE!
