I have been an accountant for 42 years and realized that I wanted to create a business that allowed people, who thought they were’nt artistic, an avenue to tap into their creativity! I get so much pleasure watching customers having fun realizing they have just created an art piece

We had such a blast here last night!!! It is different than the other wine/​painting places in town. You can do other types of art, as last night I created a beautiful shoe made with nails and thread and broken glass pieces. Sandy the owner was so nice and so much fun! Our instructor was Alexandra and she was great!!! The atmosphere and décor and music all enhanced the experience! I highly recommend you give it a shot… you will not be disappointed! I can’t wait to go again! It was a great girls nite out.

Such a fun experience! I came from out of town and found this little gem of a place to have a fun and creative night on a Saturday! Everyone was so nice and welcoming and such a wonderful environment to get your creative juices flowing! Will be back again!

Did the nail art project for the first time and it came out awesome! It was so much easier than I thought it would be. The owner and the artist helped me when needed and made my experience so pleasant. If you want to do a fun art project whether it’s nail art or painting or any of their other projects I recommend signing up. It’s so much fun and most of the art is original local artist work rather then cookie cutter art at the other places. There is only so many times you can paint starry night. Lol plus not only can you get wine and beer for the guys! You can order some great food. A+ job guys! I’ll be coming back for more! Thank you!

Great Sunday painting. Class size wasn’t too big and I loved that we got to paint on wood. Looks like their art work isn’t always on canvas which makes it nice and easier for you to use in your home. I would recommend this place to anyone! Staff made you feel very welcomed and made sure you had a drink. And if you were hungry they would ordered food for you next door at Napa Sonoma!

Last night night was date night! A long time ago I went to another «sip and paint» place and I had a good time. However, it was super crowded and the lady teaching got a bit tipsy! So I had purchased the Groupon for the Reno Art Bar. Wow! What a great experience!!! We had an absolute blast! The shop was adorable! I love that you could sign up to create projects other than painting (they have a burlap project coming up). The owner and teacher were very kind and we laughed all night! I liked this play WAY better than the competition!!! Thanks Reno Art Bar for a fantastic date night! We will definitely be back!

I have been here 1 time. It’s a smaller venue compared to the other art bars. It’s good if you want more of a one-​on-​one experience. I like their mixed media projects. Will definitely come back.

This was a fun place to go to, you should give this place a try! The folks here are very nice and sweet. In addition the paintings, they also have bookings that create art with cork or glass.
They have dinner available during your painting session as well as good wines. Located at Plumbgate off of Plumb, couple doors down from Starbucks.

We had a date night at the Art Bar. It was a smaller class filled with fun people and a great vibe. Jenny, our instructor was very sweet and incredibly talented. There is a warm, family like vibe to this business. They are next door to Napa and you can order food and beverages from them. The Napa waitress came in and was very attentive. I highly recommend this experience and my boyfriend walked out with a huge smile and a darn good paining.

This was fun! I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I felt comfortable and our instructor Jenny was very friendly and helpful. They’re right next door to Napa-​Sonoma who will bring your order from wine to food right to you. All you simply have to do is bring yourself. They supply everything needed for the project you pick. This was the best use of my 3 hours in a long time. I will definitely be doing this again.

We’ve painted at ArtBar and at another similar establishment in Reno. We continue to come back to ArtBar because of the instruction. It’s always been at the pace of the guests, not the resident artist, so you don’t feel rushed to keep up. We’ll be back!

It was so fun! I am not very good at art EVER and it was so simple to follow and so fun to try and think out side the box. I loved the experience and how laid back it was. I would recommended anyone and everyone try it at least once!!! I know I plan to go back again!

What a wonderful experience! I took my 85 year old mother out for a creative evening, we enjoyed ourselves painting and the instructor took extra time to assist my mom. The owner and staff went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and relaxed. The food service next door from Napa Sanoma was wonderful. A definite must try experience!

I went to the Reno Art Bar with a fairly good size group of co-​workers and spouses for a private paint and sip event. What a blast! We all had so much fun and the wine from Sonoma next door was quite delicious. Unfortunately I don’t recall the name of our painting instructor, but she was wonderful. She was patient and and helped everyone produce a painting to be proud of. We did the heart of palm painting. The owner, Sandy, is a wonderful soul and incredibly encouraging. The price was very fair, but honestly I’d wouldn’t be upset to pay more for the same experience again. I hope the business thrives for many years to come. We will do it again for sure!

How cool!!!
Went to Reno Art Bar last night as a gift for my birthday, with the Reno Diocese and I had no idea what to expect.
They offer a glass of wine with every class and Napa next door sends a waitress over to bring more drinks or cocktails if you feel that one isn’t enough. They even let me get a whiskey next door and bring it in with me! The cheese and deli tray was superb it’s also offered with your glass of wine.
Class begins and they have one painting they will teach you and you look at and think «I can’t ever do that!» But the instructor is kind and patient and shows you what you need to know.
They tell me there are couples painting and mother days painting. I think would be a great gift for anyone looking for something different or someone hard to buy for.
