I saw Amy Asteriadis Instagram through a mutual friend. Her before and afters caught my eye and I just had to make an appointment. She was extremely professional and had a welcoming attitude. I have had my fair share of hairdressers because I’m extremely particular, she made me feel at ease and excited for once to get my hair done! By the end of my appointment I was soooooo happy and pleased with how my hair turned out! She takes the time to listen to what you want and really does care! I found my new stylist and cannot be happier with the turn out. I recommend her and will definitely be going back to her!

Love this studio! Staff is always customer service friendly with positive vibes. My hair professional at this wonderful establishment is Emily Slingland whom is just the best with the hair product & tools. I had gone through several hair professionals who just didn’t have the right training or skills… until I had booked an appointment with Emily 3 years ago before she moved to Pearl. Pearl studio offers great service. I highly recommend this studio!

I am not writing this review for the whole salon, I have to say I had an amazing experience with Kate and Nicole. They care about their clients and they put so much effort. However, a new stylist, Ana, she doesn’t know how to communicate with her clients sadly. She involves the owner, kate, to resolve her issues because she can’t be responsible for her job. I showed her a picture and she said she can do it, she only worked on top of my head, my roots that was little longer than usual, she didn’t even touched my whole hair and at the end I told her that what she did wasn’t a picture of what I showed. She said I charge you tomorrow another 75 $ besides today that I am charging 130 $ and I will fix it to the degree that you want. I agreed with the owner to pay 165 $ cut and color for my whole hair and she would fix it, the next day I am telling her what I want and she is like I am not doing this, I am not doing that because I all I have is 2 hrs! The stylist that can’t communicate with her clients, doesn’t want to put an effort and all she cares about is to charge you and she involves the owner way too much is certainly not a good stylist.

Come see Kate! She owns, operates, and is a stylist at Pearle Studios. I have been going to Kate for years and she has never let me down. I highly recommend Kate or another one of her stylist at the salon. 5 stars!

I contacted Amy again after wanting to get my hair darkened a little because my first session was a bit to light. I also wanted to get a smoother blend/​transition of my black roots because it had quite a hard contrast with my lightened hair. Once again I want to say Amy is the best hair dresser I’ve ever gone to. She not only re-​colored my hair to a more natural color but fixed my roots as well. My hair is just beautiful and looks so natural and healthy. I am in love with the final outcome. This will definitely be my go to color and Amy will definitely be my go to hairstylist.

Emily Slingland at Pearle is always so talented, professional, and fun! I am NEVER disappointed with the outcome of our hair adventures. From long chestnut brown to fun flirty red or bombshell blonde Emily knows her stuff! With the amount of color treatments I have done you would think my hair would be straw but Emily keeps my locks as healthy as possible and looking fresh! Emily took my hair from average to stunning when we first met three years ago! I have never strayed from her chair because she gets it right every time. Pearle feels like a home away from home for those who love a full salon experience, complete with complimentary drinks, an upscale atmosphere and a warm vibe of community between the stylists. Recommended! Ask for Emily Slingland! My blonde has never been icier or more radiant. She’s also remarkably style intuitive and her personable nature makes for a devilishly good time!

The studio is clean and the staff are very attentive. The stylists give massages during washing and conditioning your hair. I have seen two different stylists: both were very personable, although one gave a better haircut than the other. The gal who waxes dies a great job, as well. The parking lot is tiny and confusing. I am never sure if I’m parking in a handicapped spot or not due to poor labeling of spots. Parking is quite dodgy and very few spots are available since the bank will tow your car. Neighborhood is a tad sketchy, as well, but that’s beyond the control of the owners. Just keep that in mind when looking for parking.

I have been going to Maia for all of my waxing needs for close to a year now and she never disappoints the one time I had to go to another lady it was just a horrible experience. She is by far the best there is (: i recommend her to everyone.

I’ve been seeing Maia for my lash extensions for years. She relocated to Pearle Studios about a year ago and I’d follow her anywhere! I get so many compliments on my lashes and I never have to wear make up! I wouldn’t trust anyone else to do such beautiful work, and she’s always so accommodating with my busy schedule. There’s no better place to get gorgeous, convenient, and affordable eyelash extensions at a fun location with great atmosphere. Awesome stylists too! Being a cosmetologist and finding someone you can trust with your hair, skin, or nails is hard, but this place is full of dedicated professionals. I can’t say enough positive things about Maia and Pearle Studios!

Absolutely adore this salon and everyone in it! The girls are nothing but talented and unique in their own way and the Owner, Kate does nothing but the best for her clients and salon. Without a doubt the best salon in Reno!

Excellent experience with Leah doing my hair. Had color with highlights and a cut with layering that is exactly right. My mom has had her hair done here several times and it always looks great. Leah is the right mix of friendly and professional and continues to educate herself in her craft. She did an amazing pattern with highlights. Rave reviews.

I haven’t even had an appointment yet and I’m very pleased! Carleen was such a huge help! She gave me tips upon tips about how to take care of my curly hair and achieve my hair goals. It is so hard to find quality care for my type of hair and I can’t wait to get a haircut from her!

This place is amazing! I’m usually super picky when it comes to my hair, but they did a fine job taking care of it. I just got my hair done by Emily. Gotta say she’s phenomenal. My hair feels and looks absolutely amazing!

Wonderful salon with a great staff, fabulous décor, and really good wine! This salon is a little on the high end, but the cost is WELL worth it. The haircut I received from Kate is the best haircut I’ve had outside of LA! Quite remarkable, really. The staff is friendly, welcoming and relatable as well as professional and organized. Why has Pearle not been voted Best Salon in the RN&R yet? Will definitely be back and will send my friends, too!

I went to Pearle Studios for almost three years, always seeing Lindsay for hair cuts.
She did such a great job with my thick and wavy hair my first time in her chair, I kept going to her even though I lived a two hour drive away. Every time, she would remember both how I liked my cut done and the things we had talked about months ago. Very sweet gal to chat with, and she makes cool jewelry, too!
The salon itself has always been stylish and relaxing. The receptionists and other gals polite and always offering a beverage or making sure I had been looked after.
Now that I’ve moved, I am sad I have to roll the dice and find a new person to trust with my hair.

I love coming to pearle studios. I feel like it’s a diamond in the rough, and my secret cool salon. The outside of the building is all black and so unassuming and parking could be better. But the second I walk inside it’s this beautiful updated, well decorated p, trendy, clean salon. The front desk girls are very nice and always offer me a drink right away and they have little snacks on the table. I have a couple different stylists that cut my hair in there and so far I have no complaints. They cut and style my hair wonderfully. Now I can’t wait to get a pedicure on the new side they just opened up!!!

This is my new favorite salon! My stylist was Carly G. and she did an AMAZING job with my hair. Not only had the layers of my hair grown out, it was a fried straw-​like mess. After 2 previous attempts at blond highlights from a different salon, and spending too much time in the sun over the summer, it was a medium length shapeless blob.
My goal was to get rid of the brasiness & return to my natural dark hair color. I asked her to add a dark purple underlay, so it wouldn’t look bland and monotonous. She colored the top portion a rich dark brown, and bleached the under layers before adding a vibrant purple/​red mix of color.
Last year, I’d requested this same color mixture at 2 different salons, and none of the stylists figured out that they had to bleach my dark hair for the color to show up! This was the first time I actually got the results I wanted. After the appointment, I stopped at the grocery store, and 4 complete strangers complimented my hair.
I’d highly recommend this salon & Carly G for a stylist. She actually listens to what you want done, and does it! On top of that, she was super fun to talk to and didn’t have the stuffy off-​putting attitude that many stylists seem to emanate. Normally, I dread getting my hair done, but this was a fun & relaxing experience. Oh, and this salon has the most comfortable chairs in town! You know when you have to lay back for the color rinse & shampoo, and it feels like your head is awkwardly dangling on the hard edge of the sink — that does not happen here. The chairs and sink edge are padded and soft, so you can actually sit back and relax. Love this place, and will definitely be back!

I love this place! Everyone that works here is so friendly and outgoing. The salon itself is so trendy and fun! The ladies there are very experienced and know their product knowledge, which is nice. I love that it offers hair, nails, skin and waxing all in one place.
I get my hair done by Chanelle and she does a fabulous job, I always leave loving my hair!
I recently had an appointment with Alana for a Brazilian wax and let me tell you, it was such a great experience compared to my other wax experience elsewhere, she uses a hard wax which is better for your skin and does not hurt near as much and she can get it done in only a couple strips, which is so great! She totally makes you feel comfortable and is a joy to talk to.
I love this salon and would recommend it to everyone.
