Lexington Inn and Suites

Nice clean room. Nice hot breakfast BUT… don’t let the ads fool you. They do NOT have a pool, sauna, & hot tub. There is a pool ad hot tub next door that they let you use but it is not on their property and the sauna (which is also next door) is closed for repair. Furthermore, the hairdryer in our room didn’t work, which I didn’t realize until after my shower. I was told they wouldn’t be able to provide one in time for me to dry my hair that morning.

Had a great stay, breakfast was terrific, and the rooms were layde out really nice, I had a great night sleep, however the front desk lady was kinda rude, but either way I would still recommend this place to anyone, plus who knows maybe that lady was having a bad night

The only redeeming quality of this hotel is that is was cheap and my room was clean.
We showed up to check in and no one was at the desk. There was a sign on the desk saying they would be right back. That took 30 minutes. The sign also said to walk across the parking lot to their sister hotel for service. I did but was told they could not help me. This was apparently a lie. The reason for the absence… the desk clerk picked someone up at the airport. So their front desk person was off the premises for a half hour at least.
The hallway carpets on all levels is filthy! See picture. The paint job in the hallway is equally lazy and bad. It’s actually comical. Again, see the picture… you’ll laugh. The ceiling obviously leaked at some point because the patch job looks like spackle on top of popcorn ceiling. Which reminds me, who still has popcorn ceilings anymore. And again… see picture.
We left for the day and came back to find our room had been cleaned. This was nice. What was not nice was our door was left open. Thankfully none of the indigenous people stole our stuff. Some other people mention the area is bad. Meh, I’ve seen worse.
The breakfast was technically food. The dehydrated eggs were technically eggs and I think the Tang is technically orange juice. Does anyone know what the apple juice equivalent of Tang is?
One of the beds was sunken in the middle. I don’t mind bumping uglies but when I’m trying to sleeping and keep getting sucked into the mattress valley it is frustrating. And the wifi plain sucks. It’s slow and intermittent.
We left a day early even though we couldn’t get our $ 40 back. I consider that a wash.
I gave 1 star for price and 1 star for a sanitary room.

The room was outdated, the lamp shade had numerous holes in it, the bed skirt had questionable substances which I would rather not know what it was. Carpets were filthy. Bathroom was so tiny the tissue roll was right on top of you. One tiny shampoo and conditioner for three guests. TV was distorted on both sides of the screen making picture very odd. Breskfast wasnt bad but waffle station was a disgusting mess because the waffle iron was old and titled when you flipped it. Solution was to put was paper under to catch overflow rather than replace it. Had it been cleaned up on a regular basis maybe not so bad but hours of waffle overflow with the same disgusting tongs was more than I could besr. Cabinets and all furniture needs to be replaced. Would never stay here again.

Maybe I’m just not as picky as I thought I was, but we had a nice 1 night stay here. Solid 3 star place (I’m giving 4 becuase I was pleasantly surprised), no frills, clean (at least our room was) and simple. Maybe sketch factor depends on who other guests are at any given time — there was some BBQ convention when we stayed here (labor day weekend) so the hotel was fully booked w/​families. Free breakfast was biscuits w/​gravy, scrambled eggs, and cereal. Staff was friendly and efficient. Would stay again on the way in/​out of Reno.

Zero stars! There was no hot water. Even in the evening. And the manager says its the same reason there is no hot water at home when people come to visit. Everybody bathes at the same time, hen there isn’t any hot water. Then they weren’t sympathetic. No accommodations given to us for this issue. DO NOT stay here!

This place is grimey, the carpet in the rooms are filthy and I honestly walked around the room with my sandals. The bathroom is just dirty, they need to repaint the whole interior of that place, replace carpets and it MIGHT be worth staying.
The only reason I will give 2 stars is because the free breakfast is decent and the bed linens are very clean as well as a comfortable bed. If you’re just looking for a place to crash for the night, it’s for you!
If you’re looking to be in the room for hours or in and out, nope not for you. Unless you don’t mind a grimey room. The wifi sucks, don’t even try it. The whole neighborhood probably used it because it’s an open network. The hallways are filthy and smell of smoke is everywhere. The rooms that I have been in, (yes I stayed 2x giving the benefit of the doubt) have been connecting rooms, so I can clearly hear the guests tv and complete conversations in the other room. The hotel reception girl that checked me in, straight up burped while I stood there in shock that she just burped.
The parking is horrible. Not enough spaces for the 2 hotels that share the parking. You have to park on the street and most of the front area of the hotel is emergency parking only, so you’re leaving your car down the street to park.

I really had a good experience here. I booked a King suite for a really reasonable price really close to the airport (and during Burning Man arrival weekend). Clean, little run down in the hallways, but I was quite impressed with the room. Super soft sheets, clean, very comfortable with great pillows. Massive in-​room minifridge, microwave, and sink. The furniture isn’t high-​end but the bed was wonderful. Bathroom was clean and had everything I needed. Sure I’ve stayed in nicer hotels — but this one was really good for the price and location. 2.5 miles or so from everything.

This place is awful. I checked in, though I was concerned because it isn’t in the best area. The front desk manager was kind, but that is literally the only positive aspect of this place. The hallways are dimly lit, and the rooms are horrible. The pictures they post online are absolutely no representation of the actual rooms. I must have gotten the worst room ever. The room I was unlucky enough to get was next to the fire escape facing the trash dump, and the rundown building next door. I picked up my belongings, and immediately checked out. Do yourself a favor, save your money, and stay at the plethora of better hotels that Reno has to offer.

Inexpensive very basic hotel… House cleaning does a good job but the rest is bad. They advertise wifi but it is so slow it will disconnect. When we called the front desk they said the problem is that we use a Android phone or there is not enough memory in the phone.
The hotel smells bad for some reason or another.. We decided to just keep the window open all the time. Luckily the temperature in Reno were mild. The bathroom room light worked on and off all weekend. We asked to have it fixed about 5 times and still no luck. I just gave up after we were told just to tap on the side of the light but after a day that stopped working. Here is a picture of the ceiling. Almost forgot. The pool was clean and the hotel had towels.. So only positive would be house keeping is good and pool with supplied towels. Just remember you get what you pay for.

Alicia (The Front Desk associate) ignored us and other customers. would not answer direct questions, and was about as rude as a McDonalds cashier. Initially refusing to let us check into our room without adding a SECOND credit card to our bill (To cover «incidentals») we didn’t have another card. Alicia continued to not offer any help so we walked to the other hotel in the parking lot. (they’re owned by the same company.) the attendant there was helpful and accepted a cash deposit for the room (Not ideal, but at least this attendant explained the WHYS and spoke like a professional.)
Hopefully I get that deposit back tomorrow when I check out.
Now, the hotel itself. The site says it has a pool, it doesn’t. though it does have a pool hole. The ice bucket is dirty. the towels are used. and the sheets, while moderately clean. are severely stained. the floor looks like that of a public school. the ample flatscreen TV is the highest quality knock off China can offer, so it’s got that going for it.
Ugh. Don’t come here. I’ll update this review tomorrow, if I survive the continental breakfast

This is overall good hotel for reasonable price. I found it clean and neat. No smell in the room. It was overall good experience. Staff was helpful. Breakfast is also fine.

It’s ok for an overnight emergency stay, but very basic. There is a free shuttle into Reno which is nice

Horrible service. We arrived at the hotel from out of state 30 min before checking, just curious to see if we could check in early and get cleaned up we asked the front desk help Alicia if we could check in. She said not until 3– this wouldn’t have been a problem expect that we waited in the lobby as she proceeded to check in various other parties. When we checked in at 3:01 she took payment for our pre reserved room and then proceeded to tell us that our room wasn’t ready, when I asked her how long she thought it would be she said «I couldn’t tell you» by this time my 2 year old was ready for his nap so I had to sit in the car with him bc the prebooked room we paid for wasn’t ready when they said it was going to be. The service was slow and Alicia at the front desk was rude. Also while we were in line to check in she placed a caller on hold for at least 10 min. The caller was still on hold when we left the lobby, the unemployment rate must be a lot lower in NV than CA Because the front desk staff was below par.

There is SHIT ON the QUILT! Nightmare experience with this place !!! I have taken photo and uploaded it, but mangers of this hotel shd go sleep with that quilt themselves to understand what I mean.
We arrived at almost 4am last night — early morning and I went straight to bed without checking my bed carefully. And This would be my lifetime regret ! I woke up twice during the night by the smell of shit and thought its from the a/​c or vent or outside. Being so tired I fell asleep again. This morning when I wake up I saw SHIT on the quilt !!! REAL HUMAN SHIT !!! And other yellow liquid stain and black foot prints…, I’m totally speechless and I feel this long lasting smell is keep haunting me that I still want to puke until this minute …
Also my friend found dead bug on her bed too, but I’m sure no one experienced the worse than I did T_​T
I give minus 5 star for this hotel

First off, when checking in at the lobby, we had issues with the company we booked through. The people at the front desk were nothing but patient, kind, and helpful. They resolved our issue and we ended up with the same inexpensive price. They had a shuttle service to take guests to and from the strip. The shuttle wasn’t running at the time we wanted to go, so they called us a taxi and even paid the fare! At the end of the night, the shuttle came to get us and the driver was very kind. We ended up at Baywood-​the hotel right across the way for these services because our lobby was closed, but received the same outstanding service. The toiletries were the best quality I have seen at a hotel in a long while, and I was impressed by that, especially considering the price we paid for the room. I used the gym the next morning and there was plenty of equipment to get a quick work out in. Breakfast was included in the morning and parking was free. A couple other things we appreciated were the large television, mini fridge, and nice countertops. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to Reno and look forward to recommending them.

Next time we go to Reno we are staying here again. Only about 10 minutes from downtown, the location is great. The price is even greater, only $ 56 for a queen room.
AND there’s a refrigerator, microwave, and large screen TV? And it came with all the standard amenities rooms are supposed to come with, of course. But these amenities were on point too: A modern iron that can reach the top temperatures with no problem and soaps and shampoos that don’t look at all cheap the way other hotels do.
This is by far the best hotel we’ve stayed in for such an inexpensive price. We’ve stayed in many different kinds of hotels, but this is really the biggest bang you can get for your buck.
We’re going to come back on future road trips, for sure.
