I’m going to keep this review simple and sweet. I’m not a huge Jimmy Johns fan, frankly I think Port of Subs is better. But this location is closet he staff are nice, even if the food is a bit over priced. It’s ok for a quick bite to eat, I just wished that they had a bigger condiment selection for your sub.

Food was ready incredibly fast(no shocker), and staff was friendly. Sandwiches were sloppily made however. One sandwich had no tomatoes and the other only had one tiny slice. Both had way too much lettuce. Not too much to complain about, but I expected a little more.

Tried to order from the to night. They said 7 minutes is to long to make a deliver. I mean come on it was about 10 pm and it would have taken less then 7 minutes. This places just suck.

This used to be one of my to-go places when I was in college, a few years ago. The guys who worked here were friendly and easy to talk to. I mean, who doesn’t remember late night study sessions at the Getchell library accompanied by some delicious Jimmy John’s delivery? Nom, nom… I happened to be around that area today and I just really wanted to get some Jimmy John’s, I never had an issue with parking before, because I always walked there or got my stuff delivered. But I was driving today, all street parking was taken and now you can’t park in the parking lot next door(not sure if this was the case before too.) I went around to the back of the building, next to the dumpster. I figured I could park here very briefly, as I remembered Jimmy John’s being super quick at making my #6. Five minutes tops, I thought. However, after I parked, some little dude on a high horse drove up and parked behind my car, blocking it in. He got out of his little black Honda or whatever, and I asked him if I could park here, to what he responded with a face shake saying no, then just said«I’ll move it in a sec.» with a familiar tone, as if I was his mother or something. Went into the shop and left me there waiting for him to move his car, when I could have just parked there, and gotten my sandwich while he went to do whatever he went in to do. Needles to say, he was rude and condescending. I understand that parking around the University is ridiculous, but the least he could’ve done as a «customer service» representative of Jimmy John’s is say«sorry no, you cannot, but you could try parking here or there» or something like that. He obviously didn’t care whether I got food from them or not. I gave two stars because I still like the food, but even if I am in the area reminiscing about my college days, I will never attempt to visit this location again. I felt very unwelcomed. See kid, even a small gesture like the one you did today, can go a long way. Better make sure the gesture is a nice one.

Horrible. Will never go here again. False promise of $ 1 subs nationwide but hello Nevada is not included. Dumb people running this place for sure!

Marc Broka gave me way too much ice. I wanted a soda not a home for an eskimo. Please give me less ice next time.

Very average sandwich, but what should I expect? The cookie was harder than the concrete used for the Hoover dam. Unbelievable, the cookie is the best part! Still super fast though.

I love this place. Quick, easy, simple, did I mention QUICK? Love that they deliver and their bread is always so fresh and soft. Also really convenient for UNR students. Think I just wish they were a tad cheaper but it’s still not bad!

Every time we get food from here we get sick. Someone told me they pre make the sandwiches here, but I do not know if that is true or not. They used to be great when they first opened, but last couple times were not fun at all…

Never will I ever order from Jimmy Johns again! This is the third and final time my lunch is an epic fail on their account! They either forget my chips, make my sandwich on the wrong bread and my favorite, finding a piece of plastic in my food! The manager Tim sent me a new sandwich without any other compensation(try adding something free next time, it’s polite thing to do!). You have lost me as a customer forever!

Love that they deliver on campus! Quick and decently priced. They make it super easy to order online too!

Great sandwiches, excellent service, easy ordering, and incredibly fast delivery. All for a very low price. I couldn’t ask for anything more from a sandwich shop, this shop has met my expectations and more.

I had previously given them three stars for this location, but most of my issues are with the physical location. It is just not a place that I would want to go into. However, my work place has started to have them deliver to us frequently and my experience has been great. They are fast and friendly. We have had a couple of mistakes over many many orders and they are always remedied. Perfect for our office lunches and better than the greasy fast food we have for the same price.

Freaky fast. *places order, hangs up phone. Gets money out. Phone rings. Jimmy Johns is here. Im impressed Jimmie John, If that is your real name. But why is there no hot pastrami? Bread is fresh, sandwich was full. No complaints here.

Good place for super-fast sandwiches at a good value. You can almost always bet on your sandwich being ready by the time you’ve gotten your receipt from the cashier. And with the late-night hours, it can be a relatively healthy option over others at midnight. I always prefer getting the wheat bread and remember that’s an option since they always go with the standard French roll. Menu can get a little stale as it hasn’t changed in years but they have a good model going currently. The delivery option is really nice as they will beat any other delivery place in speed.

Jimmy John’s is the best. Their sandwiches are awesome and it is crazy how fast their delivery gets here. I live pretty close, but it’s still incredible. One time they had my sandwich made and at my door in 9 minutes! The delivery employees are always very friendly and cheerful. My order is(almost) always correct. The bread is awesome. Really no complaints. I had never tried this place before moving to Reno, and these last couple years it has been my go-to for late night delivery. Also, it is the only place in this neighborhood that does late night delivery. But it’s still top notch.

Jimmy John’s is great for any number of reasons but my top two have to be the tasty sandwiches that are perfect for lunch and that my office is within their delivery radius. For me, there’s nothing worse than getting completely caught up at work and then realizing it’s 1PM and I didn’t pack a lunch. And since the folks at Newman’s seem to know me by name, I like to switch it up and have lunch come to me on occasion. I love their #5 Vito sandwich on white or wheat(they are both good). And I LOVE that I can order online, customize my sandwich in less than 3 clicks and boom, it’s on it’s way. You can even add your tip right online too so there’s no need to panic if you don’t have any cash with you. You can specify your preferred delivery time within a fifteen minute range(11:00 — 11:15; 11:15 — 11:30 and so on) so if I have a quick break between meetings, I can order my sandwich early and it’ll still show up when I’m hungry. You can order chips, cookies, pickles and even drinks too. Needless to say I’m a fan!

Very yummy sandwiches with more quality ingredients than Subway and Port of Subs. I usually get the Italian Night Club with all freebies and hot peppers. So good! If your hungry get a bag of chips and a cookie to go with your sandwich. My favorites are the Salt and Vinegar chips and the Oatmeal Cookie. The Double Chocolate Chip cookie is bomb too, but I definitely prefer the Oatmeal 70% of the time. Been eating here since I was a freshmen at UNR, which was many years ago now. I recommend you eat here at least once. If your hungry with extremely limited time to eat this is the place to go. They lose a star because on one occasion the manager was lacking in customer service when we were discussing if I had remembered to grab my bag of chips that I ordered.

The crew is always friendly and hollers out a «hello» as you enter and a «thanks for coming in» as you leave. I’ve always gotten my sandwich made in a freaky fast manner, and nothing has ever been wrong with it. These guys work well as a team to get you the best sandwich possible. My two favorites are the Veggie and the Turkey Tom. I’ve had an unwich a couple times: your favorite sandwich as a lettuce wrap. That’s been really good. I’ve probably ate countless sandwiches from here. My only complaint is that they took away their repeater eater card. It was such a nice reward for eating there so frequently. Really wish they’d bring it back!

I work at UNR, and I get sick of the on-campus options… and to be honest, sometimes I just don’t want to leave my desk! What’s great about Jimmy Johns is you can order online, and even customize your sandwich online(no tomatoes, add cucumber and peppers, etc). Plus, you create a profile, so when I log in, it has my delivery instructions saved(necessary because I’m on a huge college campus, not at a house!), my favorite sandwiches saved, and my credit card information saved. I can order a sandwich in under a minute and it’s delivered to me at my desk in about 10 minutes. I usually get one of the 8″ subs. The bread is not my favorite(a french roll) — you can switch to wheat for an extra 50 cents, which I’ve never done, but maybe I should try it. You can add a drink, chips, cookies and/or pickles — and don’t forget to check the box to have it cut in half like I always do! I like the Vito — it comes with plenty of meat, and all of the fun free extras that I want, and the option for some extras that cost extra. Definitely a go-to for a quick and yummy lunch while I’m at work!
