History

Established in 1998.

Dr. Xavier Martinez started the business in 1998. In 2005 Dr. Daniel Welch came aboard.

Dr. Martinez was born and raised in Reedley, CA. Working on his family’s vineyard was instrumental in developing a strong and dedicated work ethic. He attended Whittier College in Southern California earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. He earned his Chiropractic Degree in 1993 from Palmer West in San Jose, CA. He moved to Reno in December of 1998.

In 2000 he sustained a spinal disc injury following a severe car accident causing a 60% loss of strength to his right arm that eventually required spinal surgery. Strength was restored but he was left with severe neck pain. From the unique perspective of a doctor and spinal patient he realized the limitations of surgery to address post traumatic adhesions. Over the years he and Dr. Welch integrated spinal decompression technology, PT and specific biomechanically based manipulations to disrupt post traumatic scar tissue and today he is pain free. We successfully employ this same approach with each of our patients today.
