Howard’s Chevron is designated by the NV DMV as a 2G Station. We are authorized to perform emissions tests and complete emissions-​related repairs. Just a few of the things our service station can provide help with: wiperblades, tires, batteries, brakes, belts, LOF with Chevron products, tune ups. And if that pesky check engine light comes on, we can diagnose and explain why.

Howard’s Chevron has been in the Strasser family for over 40 years. Howard bought his first station in the late 1960s. Today, Howard’s son, Carl, owns the family business. Carl, who began working at the station when he was 14, proudly serves several generations of families these days; grandparents who were originally Howard’s customers, their children and even their grandchildren!

Carl and his wife, Gina (whom he met at the station) are proud of the station’s 40+ years of business and are honored to serve customers, who’ve become friends, in the Reno/​Sparks area. Gina, also born and raised here, has a non-​profit background and is always looking for innovative ways the station can help make a positive difference in the Truckee Meadows region.

Howard’s Chevron truly is an old fashioned, full service station and one of the last of its kind.
