Darren Vila has worked in the construction industry for more than a decade. His original field was as an electrician. He purchased Hanson Overhead Garage Door Service in 2012 and has enjoyed serving the Northern Nevada area.

When he’s not in the office or out in the field helping his garage door technicians you can find him in the gym or on the golf course. The rest of his time away from the office is with his beautiful wife and young sons.

The February windstorm damaged my garage door making it inoperable. Jeremy arrived on time, parts on hand and a can do attitude? Highly recommend this company for your service needs.

Needed new rollers, hinges and tune-​up as recommend by previous technician. Justin and Anthony arrived at scheduled time, assessed what was needed and completed the service in under an hour. My door no longer can be heard opening by neighbor’s 3 houses down! From initial call to Heather and the technicians… GREAT customer service!

I called Sears on January 13, 2015 to have my garage door repaired (a neighbor had used them). Someone was able to come that afternoon. I paid my $ 75 service charge fee (that I was told would apply to the repair when I set up the appointment). I was then told they had to order the part (new springs) and that we shouldn’t use the garage until it was repaired. Called two days later. Still no part and probably wouldn’t be there until Friday — which meant we would be with out a garage door over the weekend. Was also told that the $ 75 service fee would only apply to the repair if it was done on the same day. I then called Hanson Overhead Garage Door Service. Justin arrived in about 30 minutes and the repair was completed in another 30 minutes. The charge was less than the Sears estimate. Needless to say, I learned my lesson and won’t be calling ANYONE except for Hanson next time I need my garage door fixed! Thanks for such a great outcome!

Absolutely amazing service. I had Steve out to replace my motor and he was so damn nice and thorough. He gave me a heads up on two repairs I would need in the next year or two and fully serviced my door so I can’t hear it open or close at all. I will definitely use Hason again!

Fast, professional service! My garage door got stuck half-​way open and wouldn’t budge. I called Hanson and they worked me into their already full schedule coming into a holiday weekend. The receptionist that took my call was great and the technician was fast, got everything fixed and provided service with a smile. I will definitely call these folks in the future.

These guys are the best! They’re all so nice and professional! I called another local garage service once for an after hours emergency call. They advertise for that service but they never called me back. If you want someone reliable, you need to call Hanson.

Jeremy came out today and replaced a broken spring on and lubricated our double garage door. He was on time, answered a ton of questions I had, gave me some advice on keeping the door working properly and what to look for in the future, and completed the job at the price discussed. What a relief! They will get any future garage door business I have!

Jeremy came out to service my garage door, which was binding the wheels on the track. He showed up on time and was very friendly and professional. He made some adjustments, cleaned and lubed the door and was on his way. He also installed a wireless remote keypad and help me set up my PIN. Overall it was a great experience and if i ever have a problem again they will definitely be the first place i call

We had a new garage door opener installed at our house and the service was great. The response was quick and the serviceman was very nice. Their pricing was super competitive. Definitely the company I would recommend to anyone who needs service or a new part. I’ve called other companies and it took forever for them to return my call. One company never called me back!
