I absolutely LOVE taking my family to Aces games. Such a wonderful experience/​time.
Sure the food/​beverages can be pricey, but that’s to be expected.
The staff is always friendly and they make sure the fans are included in the events they plan between innings.
Kids can always head to the childrens play area if bored.

This is a great ballpark. Everything is modern and clean. I always enjoy watching the Aces play. There are really good food options. There are no bad seats; it seems all the seats offer a good view of the field. The park is conveniently located within walking distance of the casinos, hotels and the Amtrak station. And now there are hip restaurants popping up nearby so there’s places to stop in for a beer and a snack before heading to the park.

Food, was of course, as costly as any special event. I think, for a Angus hotdog, and beer was about $ 10 – 11, but since it was Saturday in early September, 2015, and the Aces just played against the El Paso, Chihuahuas and lost pretty badly. (Waaah!) we were a bit concerned about the next game and if they could make a comeback.
It’s great family entertainment for the kids. They have games, like guessing the president on the $X dollar bill, and watching the red, aces mascot whose name Is «Archie»? They really «eat-​up» the whole thing up (those kids) with catcher’s gloves and trying to get an autograph on… whatever… A player passed near to us and even though he didn’t have a ball directly on him for the kid, he actually found one off in the warm-​up area and tossed it to the joyfully, happily awaiting kid. (I wish I remembered the player’s name! But, he really meant a lot to that kid… I hope he knows that). The multitudes of children/​kids unable to stay still, were all over the seats but it didn’t bother us because there were a lot of empty seats (plus, I’ve been a hyper kid myself). We left after a few innings as we had not prepared for the nighttime cold snap (it had nothing to do with the kids-​whose father we had been befriending by then) it was a little early for me but my friend wanted to go. It was, all in all, a good, wholesome thing to do!
My friend wanted to get season passes for the balcony but the salesperson explained that they were only for groups and rarely a day of event opening. I felt fine with his explanation but my friend didn’t seem convinced or that he truly understood but he’s getting-​up there in years, so… As I looked back at the balcony, I was certain that these were box seats paid for by corporations and probably the «bread and butter» of the ballpark seating. No worries there.
We had great front row seats anyway near 3^rd base. Parking might be a bit rough but since we took a motorcycle, it was free and easy where the other motorcycles park… ‘Across the street from the entrance.

What a way to end the season! Gorgeous weather, a win, $ 1 hot dogs, and a 3 day weekend. Not the greatest baseball fan here, but you can count me as a huge fan of Aceball! The only disappointing part of today was knowing that we have to wait u too next season!
Couple of cool things I hear are happening include soccer making use of the stadium during off season, and a haunted house in October!

The ballpark is the perfect size which means there isn’t a bad seat in this place! I’m a naturally fidgety person so I can’t sit thru an entire game in my seat. I love that you can walk all the way around the park to get views from all sides. The bathrooms are always clean and have plenty of stalls. There is a good variety of food and drink options. The ticket prices are always a good deal for a cheap date night. This is a great place to see some baseball played, eat some good food, or just walk around to take in the game from a different angle.

A must-​not-​miss stop in Reno! Great big-​league ballpark feel, on a smaller scale.
Many big-​league players have come through this AAA ballpark, such as Manny Ramirez, Chris Owings, Mike Trout, Nick Ahmed, Chris Bryant, David Freeze, Mike Fiers, Billy Burns, Didi Gregorius … there are others. My son and his dad spend most of their summer here. Great family activity.
Some highlights/​specials: Fireworks after Friday games, Sunday Kids Eat Free, Saturday kids run the bases after the game (Thursdays adults can run), Thursday are also $ 2 sodas & $ 2 beers, Wednesday Free hotdogs for Seniors 50+, Tuesday 2-​for-​$ 22 (2 gen admission tix, 2 hot dogs & 2 sodas), Monday $ 1 hot dogs. Some Saturdays are free give-​aways days, such as jerseys, bobbleheads, lunchboxes and more.
Note: my 12-​yr-​old son provided many of the details in this review — he’s the biggest Aces fan! :)

At the last minute, I decided to go to a game at this ballpark. I’m jealous that I don’t like nearby. I bought a ticket in the front row along the first base line, but, were I to go again, I’d just buy the general admission grass ticket. The view is great and this is the first park that I’ve ever been to where an attendee can walk all the way around.
The vibe was great, the people were nice, the gem was fun, the fireworks were cool. Great vibe and design. Good, good stuff.

Aces Ballpark, where should I start. I totally take this park for granted. It has revitalized a nasty area in downtown and has brought affordable entertainment into a blue collar city.
I am from Oakland California, and a huge A’s fan. I have been going sine i. Was 10 years old.
My brother and I went to a game last year and easily spent over 300 dollars on tickets and parking. This does not include concessions.
Fast foward to this past saturday, I took my brother and cousin to the aces game. Seats between first base and homeplate, 14 row, fourteen bucks each, parking free in disabled lot an d dinner and beers at freight house district, seventy dollars. Very affordable to bring your friends and family.
There is so much to do and see. There is a kids zone in the outfield, tuesdays are 2 for 22 that includes two tickets and two hotdogs. Thursday is 2 dollar coors. Mondays are 1 dollar hotdog and ribs. Wednesday are seniors eat free days.
As you can see there is alot to do and see. Between ininngs they alway as entertain you.
The ballpark itself is beautiful. I am so proud to call The Aces my home team

Nice little park. Great restaurants. Great location in Downtown. AAA team affiliated with AZ Diamond backs.

Reno Aces Ballpark–
Hadnt been to a game in this stadium, first game, first impressions are always will make or break ones experience to enjoy themselves. So when walking through the entrance, the Staffing is so Welcoming the place is full of friendly people who arent looking for trouble but to just enjoy the Surrounding sounds and the cheering of the Game. The Pro & Cons, not many.
Pro– Basically the seating is just right, really not a bad seat in the house. Free Giveaways (Monster Tacos, Gelato)
Con– Food Prices, but basically anywhere you go in public is pricey, but it’s expected.

This review is more of the food I think than anything else at the park. The Aces park is a fun «thing to do» when you’re looking for something different than the usual. We’ve been to the park on quite a few occasions (firework nights, $ 2 beer nights, military appreciation, etc.) and we usually have a good time. We went to last Saturday’s game, and it was fun. The game ended at a reasonable time so we were there for the whole game and we even scored the free coupons for Jack in the Box and the Atlantis because of the number of hits the Aces made. Our seats were good, there really isn’t a bad seat in the house and the park is always clean and well maintained.
But the food, ugh, the food! I want to know where everyone else found the good stuff. We paid $ 32 for a hotdog, a hamburger, a soft pretzel and two Coors Lights around 7:30 PM (so not too long after the game started). The hotdog appeared to have been boiled and then thrown in the mass steamer for the last couple of hours and it was $ 4.75 on it’s own. It wasn’t one of the oversized dogs either, it was just a plain ol’ Ball Park hotdog. The hamburger had been sitting out for awhile, the fries were dry and the soft pretzel was anything but soft. On the plus side, we did order some of the caramel corn from one of the aisle vendors and that was delicious! I think in the future, we will just eat beforehand and enjoy the caramel corn at the game :)

The Aces stadium has a great atmosphere for families, date night, or to go out with friends. There is a wide selection of eats and drinks. You can have a stadium dog to a «healthy eat» choice like a veggie stadium dog. If you get bored and are looking for a bar atmosphere you can travel a couple steps up to the Freight House District and enjoy a nice cold beverage.
If you want to know a little about the actual game, the players are consistently playing hard to get that promotion to the next level, the Diamondbacks!
The Freight House District is a great place to go for your list game socialization. Enjoy live entertainment, games, and flowing cocktails. The food in the District is just as good as the stain food and goes late into the evening.
Overall, this venue provides a clean, healthy, and fun environment for all ages. Bring the family, a date, or your group of friends for a fun time!

First time here to see the Reno Aces Ballpark and it’s very nice! I came on a Thursday night which is cheap beer night.
The ballpark is conveniently located downtown only a 10 minute walk from the major casinos. Inside the ballpark, you get a beautiful view of the mountains and sky. I like how you can walk all the way around it and saw several people enjoying their beer from farther corners of the ballpark.
I paid $ 15 for left field, but should of just paid $ 7 for general admission since the place is pretty empty. The crowd seems to be mainly locals rather than people visiting from out of town like me. The army seems to be recruiting right out front, which I could do without, but other than that the vibe is chill.
I would definitely come back to watch another ballgame here in the future.

What a beautiful yard!!! No matter if you are behind the plate, in the Coors lite party zone, out on the grass or anywhere between the foul poles you have a great view. It’s very fun and great for the whole family. They usually have fireworks on Friday’s.
I’m only giving it 4 stars because the food and beverage prices are outrageous (and not very good). They are a minor league park with major league prices. That doesn’t keep me away though I just eat before I go!!!

I was very upset because I desperately wanted a bratwurst and the concession stands had a whole pan of visible wieners but refused to sell me one, but i have to say the two servers (guy and girl) at the freight house garden were soooo friendly and nice! They served us up some beers and made up for my bad hot dog experience!

Overall Aces park is a great facility, clean, nice addition to downtown Reno.
My complaints have to do with the quality of refreshments and service.
Right when I walked in, ordered a beer, Dale’s Pale Ale, first base side stand (beer/​mixed drink/​tequila stand)…took it back to my seat, started to drink the beer… it smelled super rancid. Got a little warm and smelled like vomit, no joke, had a few people confirm it before I took it back. Bartender took one whiff and poured me a new one.
Same thing… super gross, ended up dumping the whole beer. Not sure if it was dirty draft line, super old keg, un-​refrigerated storage or a combination of the three, but you are paying way too much for a beer to be that crappy.
About half way through the game, my wife sent me for garlic fries which you can only get a certain concession stands. Went to the stand behind home plate, ordered 2 Coors lights (figured this was a safe bet after the vomit beer) and 2 orders of garlic fries. Everything showed up to the counter and I asked the cashier for a carrier and he said they didn’t have any because they had 10,000 people last night…
Really? Great. How the hell does that help me walk a bunch food and drink halfway around the ballpark? Totally unacceptable. Funny thing was, the dude seemed put off that I would even ask…
Had to stand around for like 30 minutes at a relish stand right behind the concession stand till I could finish a beer, the proceeded to bring some cold gross fries back to our seats.
Great place if you don’t consume any of their inconvenient, rancid food and or drink.
Not going back.

Pretty neat place here in Reno. I’ve never been to a baseball game before today so it was quite the neat first time experience.
My husband and I were up in a luxury box which is very cool. But on a weeknight it doesn’t get particularly busy in the main seats so I think these would be fine too.
The stadium is nice and kept up to date. Honestly I didn’t expect to be at a baseball game and think «what a lovely place» but truly I did.
Not thrilled to pay $ 10 parking? Yeah me neither. So don’t be lazy and park a little ways away and walk you big baby. Lol well we paid for parking… So I guess I’m not one to talk.
Great experience. Would do it again for sure. I enjoy going to the game, but don’t expect me to sit and watch baseball at home because it’s still boring on tv.

This ball park is just the right size to put in the heart of downtown. Aces ball park also houses the Freight house District, which is a great place to visit for food and drinks. It has a outside patio, which you can lounge with your beveage, and a place for a band to play. Several different options to choose from.
The Aces baseball team has become to draw a large crowd of locals. The games are fun to watch, all the seats are pretty good, and the tickets arent’ very expensive.
If you haven’t been to a game yet, you will not be disappointed with what the ballpark has to offer.

This is a beautiful baseball stadium and just the right size for Reno. Aces ballpark is home to the Freight House District which in my opinion is one of the coolest and newest features to the Reno nightlife. The Freight House District is neatly placed up top a large staircase above from the ballpark (no worries, they have a handicap elevator). Upstairs there is a number of food places, a stage for live music, and even a beer garden. The whole thing is brilliantly designed to accommodate a large number of people and keep them entertained.
Reno Aces baseball has become a huge part of community. The baseball games always draw a large crowd and are fun to watch. Unfortunately Reno is not able to have professional sports teams because of legalized gambling. It is a real privilege to be able to have the next closest thing, AAA baseball.
If you have kids, Aces ballpark does a lot to make sure they always have a good experience when attending games. They have a park filled with playground equipment and even bounce houses. Archie the mascot will also be sure to grab their attention with his goofy shape and playful personality.
No matter what arrangement of people you attend Aces Ballpark with, you will be in for a good time. There is a lot of fun and excitement to be had and not participating during the nice weather should be a crime. I am not even a baseball fan and am yet to be disappointed with what this ballpark and organization has done.

What a wonderful place! A great atmosphere minus the typical sporting stadium mis-​behavior. I’ve never witnessed any fights, been subjected to foul language, or had to deal with idiotic drunks here. After being season ticket holders for a Bay Area sporting team, we now travel to Reno for family sporting events and the Aces are one of the teams we support and enjoy watching. Our travel time from our home in Northern California is actually less to and from Reno than SF Bay Area locations and a much more pleasant drive. Reno is known as the Biggest Little City and the small town atmosphere carries over into the ballpark. If you’ve never visited here to see the Aces play, you are missing out big time!
