History

Established in 1989.

Craig Gandolph, Sr., was born and raised in Long Island, NY. He followed his father’s footsteps into the restaurnt business, garnering much praise for his creative talents in the competitive New York deli market. Craig and his family relocated to Provo, Utah where in 1989 he opened his first Gandolfo’s Deli. Gandolfo’s grew to nine stores by 2002 and as of 2009 there are over 50 franchises across the country. In 2002 Craig and Dan Pool formed Gandolfo’s Deli Boys LLC. Dan has over 20 years of restaurant experience having previously been an Operating Partner with Sonny’s Bar-​B-​Q, Division President for Golden Corral Corp. and Concept Director for Tia’s, Director of Operations for Harken & Associates Restaurant Group and various management positions with Bennigan’s, Steak & Ale. Jim and Donna Foster are the Franchise Owners of Gandolfo’s in Reno.
