Fingerprinting Express

I hate getting finger printed… may be because I have something to hide? hehe anyways, it’s ok. I don’t mind doing it here. There are quick, cheap and to the point. In and Out.

Not a bad place to get fingerprints done for ID’s and background checks. Centrally located office with a large staff to keep the waits to a minimum. The prices are competitive, so they are not gouging you. I’d like to find out what the clients at the other end think of having to deal with this vendor (i.e. the agencies that are using their fingerprints… is it quality work?).
One comment to management — if you have a service that requires a person to wait in the waiting room up to a 30 minutes, why are their no bathrooms?

Never having to be fingerprinted before, I had no expectation nor anticipation of how this process would go. I arrived an hour early for my appointment, and was able to be accommodated quickly. Staff was friendly, concise, and very informative, and I was able to get the service completed within 10 minutes of my arrival. Great experience!

I was impressed with both their professionalism and their turn around time. I got their around 10 minutes before closing and they still accommodated me and got me out before closing. Fast and Friendly service. Definitely recommended!

I cannot begin to tell you how amazed I was by this place. I was referred here after I walked out of the WCSD Human Resources office. I refuse to give my hard-​earned money to a place that wouldn’t know customer service and a smile if they smacked them right across their face. I have never had such nasty customer service since having to frequent HR at the school district.
Phew.
Now, that I’ve gotten that out, I can begin on how wonderful the people are at this establishment. At first, I was apprehensive. I figured it would be like the DMV: ridiculously long wait, questionable clientele, overworked, unfriendly agents. It couldn’t have been further from that.
The woman working (I feel so bad, I can’t recall her name) was like a ray of sunshine. No one likes to use part of their Saturday (oh yeah, they’re open on Saturdays, another plus) to get fingerprints to prove they aren’t creeps, but she made it feel like a pleasure.
There was only one other person waiting, a fellow teacher. The customer service agent kept thanking us for our patience. She also multi-​tasked by having us fill out paperwork and pay while she was fingerprinting the person ahead of us.
As she fingerprinted, she chatted, asked questions, and was just really friendly.
Usually I don’t like the fake-I’m-just-being-nice-because-it’s-my-job-banter, but it wasn’t like that. I genuinely think she wanted to be nice. How utterly refreshing.
I was in and out in less than 30 minutes after it was all said and done.
Can I pay my car registration renewal fees, rent, and do my banking here too?
I cannot recommend this place more. Don’t go to the HR office, to be greeted by, «What do you want?», when you can be greeted by sunshine and rainbows at Fingerprinting Express. It’s a no-​brainer.

Staff is helpful and they know what they are doing so you get in and out super fast. Make sure you show up on time for your appointment or you will get bumped and have to wait.

Amazing services. I have gotten fingerprinted many many times for volunteering, EMS and nursing. Best experience ever. No appt needed, I probably waited 5 minutes. The ladies are very friendly and gentle. I’m use to having my hand forced into different uncomfortable positions.

The people here were very nice and understanding. I called them first and spoke with a lady named Lindsey to see if they had experience working with worn fingerprints like mine. I told her that I also have never had my fingerprints approved before because of a medical condition, and she reassured me that they would do everything they could to get them approved. She also told me of their policy on getting another set of prints done for free if your initial ones are rejected.
Lindsey was also the one who took my fingerprints, and they turned out and great! I am hoping that they approved. Either way, I was impressed by this place and will be coming back for any future fingerprinting needs.
Note: They don’t book same-​day appointments, so I came in the same day I initially called (without an appointment) to wait to be seen. The whole thing didn’t take more than 30 minutes, which was another perk! I would say that getting there earlier is better if you don’t have an appointment as it got busier later in the afternoon.

Be sure to let them know you have an appointment or you will wait as if you are a walk-​in. They misheard me when I said I had an appointment and after 30 minutes, I asked what the deal was. The receptionist apologized profusely and got me taken care of right away. They are extremely professional and efficient. Just TELL THEM you have an appointment or you will be treated as a walk-​in and end up waiting.

I just dealt with a really nasty woman at the front desk. You know the kind that do that whiny sugar coated «I-​want-​to-​rip-​your-​thoat-​out-​because-​I-​am-​miserable but I have to pretend be nice to you so I will put this fake voice laced in attitude on» type? Yeah. That kind. The guy behind her even looked surprised by her attitude. He looked like a nice guy. So hopefully if you go here someone will either have given that woman the hug that she clearly needs, or you get the other guy. And if not, please give her a hug and some love. Unhappy people need kindness the most. I was so shocked all I could do was exit. So someone give her some love!
As for their services, I don’t know I just left to go elsewhere.

I specifically made a trip out to Nevada from California to get my fingerprints done for a new job that I will be starting in Nevada. My background check ended up being rejected because Fingerprinting Express took my prints incorrectly. They copied two of my fingers and deleted a whole finger. The only way Fingerprinting Express can correct the situation is if I go back to Reno. They will not offer a refund even though they clearly did not provide the service I paid for. Now I need to make another trip to Nevada (prior to moving there for my job) so that I can get my fingerprints done again. Very frustrating!

Very good service! It was very busy, but the girl was very efficient and got us through within 30 minutes. She remained pleasant to everyone even though some people were grumpy about waiting. Who walks in to a business expecting to be helped immediately? It was less wait than the bank on a Friday. I would highly recommend this business!

Organic eggs & a passport photo, $ 13. How can you go wrong?
I had to renew my CDL and needed finger prints for that ridiculous TSA HazMat background check requirement. They have the most modern non-​ink finger printing machine available here, and it’s pretty cool. No mess. Pretty interesting how it works. You roll your fingers on the glass, it shows up on the screen, and bingo — a finger print. Then they electronically send the prints to the TSA, who probably do the same to get them to the FBI.
Of course, in MY case, the prints somehow got ‘corrupted’ in transit (or so the TSA says — ahem) and I had to go back and have the whole process redone. A time wasting procedure at best.
When I STILL didn’t hear anything from the DMV about my background renewal, I called Finger Print Express to find out what was going on. It was out of their hands and I had to go back to the TSA, who passed the buck on to the FBI. I reminded them that my continued working depended on this background check being completed before Nov 13^th.
Nevertheless, Finger Printing Express did their part and with a smile. No problem getting re-​printed at no charge.
