World-class climbing has been brought to the heart of downtown Reno. BaseCamp is home to the world’s tallest climbing wall (coming in at 164′).
On your way outside to climb Reno’s historic climbing wall, check out our more than 7,000 square foot indoor bouldering park (with over 2,900 square feet of climbable space), complete with a separate, fun, and safe kids’ area.
When you can’t pull down any more and your arms are all pumped, check out our slackline and take part in the revolutionary balance sport.
At BaseCamp, we built everything to accommodate everyone in the family, from first-timers to the most experienced climbers. Residents and toursists alike are sure to see Reno as more than just slot machines…

Meet the Manager
Brian S.
Manager
Brian started climbing in 1998 and grew up on the a youth competitive climbing team. He has extensive experience with competition rock climbing ranging from climbing as a competitor, coaching, route setting, and forerunning. Additionally, he has competed and route set on the National and Pro level for several years. Brian is a USAC Level 1 certified Route setter, a CWI certified instructor, and a Wilderness First Responder, while also acting as the Head Coach of the Sierra Climbing Team. He has been driving force in the bouldering development done at Castle Peak, CA, The Sierra Buttes, CA, and Doyle, CA. Brian has been published in the «Central Washington Bouldering» guide and the «Bouldering Lake Tahoe — North/West Shore Edition.»
