Tore apart half of the rear of my Corvette to replace the power antenna only to find out I bought the wrong part. So I go to Auto Zone to see if they’ve got one. Some derpy high school aged chick is at the counter and I tell her I need an antenna for an ’87 Corvette or a replacement that would fit. She looks on the computer for a solid 3 minutes seemingly lost, and says, «I can’t find one. You said Corvette right?» — «Yes, 1987″ „Who makes it?“ -„Who makes what?“ „Who makes a Corvette?“ -„…Chevrolet.“ -“Oh, I didn’t know that!» So she yells for her equally as oblivious manager(God help me) and she stares at the computer and she starts educating me that«OMGOKSOCHEVROLETDOESNTMAKETHATANYMOREYOUMIGHTWANTTOGOTOTHAJUNKYARDORSUMTINGSORRYLOL.» I know auto parts stores don’t always know how to help you fix your car, but for God sakes at least know SOMETHING about cars. Needless to say she couldn’t find one for me.
