I went in to Apex Saw today with every intention of buying a bench sander. The one I have at home is old and I need one for projects around the house. The store was recommended by a friend. When I walked in there were at least 3 employees and one customer looking around. My first impression was that it was very clean. That’s the additional star. It went down hill from there. I was not greeted or acknowledged in any way. There was no howdy-doody or How-can-I-help-you’s. The staff went on about their chattering, completely unconcerned with my arrival. I wandered around the store looking for the sanders and saw the one I liked, a Rikon for $ 239.(available on the internet for $ 144) I looked for a store associate to talk to. I stood in front of the counter for a few minutes thinking someone would finally approach me. I walked back over to the sanders a second time. There was still no assistance so I walked out the door. LOUSY customer service. I will never step foot in there again. I receive better service at a fast food restaurant.

My family and I went to this store for the first time last week and we were truly blown away by how helpful the staff was. The owner clearly takes pride in his business and took the time to help us. The store is stocked with a wide array of tools and is kept maintained very well.

I had one bad experience in there other than that I do love the store. They have a great selection and every one else that works there is very nice. Chad handled everything on my end very well and was really nice about a negative review. I recommend the store to everyone that likes tools.

Hello– In response to Shawn’s negative experience at our store. We would like to announce that Dawn will no longer be employed with us as of December. We definitely don’t condone that type of employee behavior. We hope you will give us a chance to earn your business back. Thank you Chad Larsen Owner Apex Saw Works

LOVE this store. Always friendly and helpful. They know what they’re talking about and have an awesome selection of tools and furniture making stuff. They don’t sell crappy brands, only good ones, but they service just about anything. I once spent 45 minutes in Home Depot at Summit Ridge with three employees trying to locate cross dowels. Not only had nobody ever heard of them, but they didn’t have them in stock except in a bag in one size under a different name(the wrong size of course). That would never happen at Apex. I know they have what I need and if they don’t, they know what I’m talking about.
