I would give them zero stars if i could. The vibe when I walked in was a little strange. Dr. Lucas misdiagnosed our dog. Our dog was in a lot of pain and the medicine that he prescribed did not help. He made it seem like our dog had a cold. We later found out from another vet what the actual problem was and Dr. Lucas was very wrong. What made me the most upset was that we had to wait to treat our dog because the prescription that Dr. Lucas gave could not be combined with the new correct medicine or she could die. Also the vet bill was very expensive. It would have been different if Dr. Lucas would have said he wasn’t sure about the problem, but instead we had to wait, worrying about our dog for an extra week to see if she would be okay or need surgery. We will not be back and do not suggest anyone to try this place.

I took my 3 cats to Dr. Lucas for about 15 years. He is absolutely the best! He takes his time to explain everything that’s going on with your pet, and will not do anything he doesn’t feel is necessary. In other words, he doesn’t try to rip you off. He simply does what’s needed and what’s best for your pet. The office is very safe too; they buzz you in, I’m sure to protect you and your pet from any dangerous situation that may exist with another pet that’s in the waiting room. But someone is always at the desk, so it’s not like you’re waiting around to enter. I would give TLC for Pets a million stars if I could. Unfortunately I live in another state now, so I can’t go there anymore for the cats I have now. By the way, all 3 of my cats lived long lives. One lived to be just shy of 15 years, one was 16 and a half, and my other one was about 16 years when he died.

Been here twice so far and I love them so much! I’m so happy we found a good and local vet. Dr Lucas is so thorough and caring and all of the staff members are so nice! :) i highly recommend this place to people looking for a good vet

Dr. Lucas and his staff are amazing. I drive all the way from Pikesville to take my cat here. They were able to handle him very effectively during shots, which is not easy, trust me. We boarded him here over holiday vacation, and my cat seemed to enjoy his stay. THANKS TLC!
