Established in 2002.

Solnet was founded in 2002 by Russ Dijak. Solnet filled a need for outsourced IT support before it was the norm. In the late 1990s every company had their own IT staff, but by 2002, when Solnet began, companies realized that they needed more than 1 or 2 highly skilled people. Solnet was a pioneer in the «team knowledge» approach. By combining multiple skill-​sets Solnet has been able to provide more talent for less cost for over a decade now. Russ Dijak has been in computer services and management since 1991. With a strong knowledge of networking, computer security, and database systems, Russ manages technicians and programmers on projects for small to medium sized business as well as home users.
