Specialties
Java Mammas Café is a charming café and espresso bar located in a house that dates back to the 1870’s on historic Main Street in Reisterstown. Enjoy dining inside our warm and delightful house or outside on the porch or patio where pets are always welcome. Locally owned, we support our fellow local, small businesses and community organizations.
We pride ourselves on freshly-made menu items with real ingredients that can be cooked to order. Our bagels, breads and muffins are sourced from local bakeries. We serve breakfast all day including egg and cheese sandwiches, omelettes with your choice of ingredients, pancakes, french toast, and specialties like our breakfast panini or salsa wrap. Our menu includes salads, soups, and a variety of sandwiches and wraps like our Powerhouse or pressed selections like the Pesto Chicken Panini or Java’s Grilled Cheese with Bacon. We feature specials to add to our menu selection daily!
Our espresso bar features our JM roast and our daily house brew. We can make your drink any way you choose with a variety of Monin syrups or Ghirardelli products. Try our creamy Indian Spiced Chai or a blended Extreme Toffee Coffee. Hot or cold, coffee or coffee-free, we can make your drink just the way you want. We also feature a wide variety of tea, pastries, and other locally made products.
The café has a private room available or rent the café to host events or meetings after-hours – baby showers, book clubs, local community meetings or parties.
Enjoy!
History
Established in 2004.
Established in 2004, Java Mammas began as a small coffee shop for the Reisterstown community in a location further down Main Street. JM grew out of its former location and «moved on up» the street to its current home at 214 Main Street. The new location quickly has become home and a hub for the Reisterstown community.
