Terrible customer service. Lots of broken promises and excuses. Big disappointment !!

This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Things started out well. I called them to get an estimate and they sent someone right away and their price was good. I called them the next day with some questions and to schedule the work. Kim who answers the phone answered most of my questions but had to check on one thing about a winter discount and says she will call me back in a day of two. A week and a half go by and I hear nothing then the owner (Chris) calls me at work and says he can do the job that day if I am interested. Didn’t even mention my outstanding question. I say no because I am at work. Then Kim calls a couple of days later (still doesn’t mention the outstanding question) and says that they can do the job the next day. Since they were the cheapest I had found, I schedule for them to come out between 8 – 9 on 9÷20÷2012 but they never showed up or called. At 11, I call the office and Kim says the previous days job ran into this morning and she has to track down the crew to see where it stands. She calls me back 45 minutes later and says that they have finished up the previous job and will be at my house by 1pm. At 1:45 when no one has shown up or called, I call again and Kim puts me on hold while she tries to see what the problem is. She comes back and says that Chris the owner is looking into where the crew is and she will call me back. At 3pm no one has called me back so I call the office again and no one answers this time. I leave a message cancelling the job and then get a call from Chris the owner. He tells me that their equipment broke last night and that put them behind and that he and his crew are still on the other job. He says that he was squeezing me in all along and I had been on the books for a week but Kim failed to notify me until the day before. Basically his story completely contradicts hers and he tries to make it seem like he was doing me a favor squeezing me in because I had been waiting so long. I never said I needed it done quickly so I didn’t need to be squeezed in and had never stated such. He was apologetic but his story sounded like BS trying to cover his butt for his unprofessional company. When I started questioning the differences between his story and what Kim had been telling me all day and asking why no one could call me and tell me they were not coming when I had been waiting all day he got defensive. I told him I didn’t care anymore and was done with his company and he hung up on me.
