Oby Lee Coffee Roastery

While Oby Lee’s used to be a nice place, it’s gone a bit down hill over the years. I think it’s main problem is that it suffers from a poorly trained staff. The last time my family and I went there for breakfast, they struggled to get our order right. They ended up messing up one our waffles (wrong toppings). They told us to keep it for free, and then they gave us another waffle with the right toppings. However, it turns out that the first waffle they gave us was in fact for a different customer. They started accusing us of stealing his waffle and trying to make us pay for it when we didn’t want it in the first place. Eventually the manager came out and got things sorted, but it was an annoying thing to have to deal with. On top of that, the coffee drink I ordered tasted disgusting. I can’t quite recall what the problem was, but it was just not good at all. I couldn’t drink it. Anyway, perhaps Oby Lee can once again become the nice café that they once were, but it certainly won’t happen unless they can learn how to train their staff a little better.

Great coffee shop that serves delicious breakfast. I had the Eggnormous breakfast sandwich and my boyfriend had the pecan banana waffles. They’re not kidding about the sandwich – it’s huge. It’s served on an equally huge croissant. The waffles were yummy with plenty of sliced bananas and chopped pecans on top. Each item came in around $ 8. Order at the cash register and they call out your order when it’s ready.
