Stephanie Buck-Haskin, MD

Used to work as a receptionist for her in her LI office. One of her patients walked out without paying the copay. The pt’s copay was deducted from my paycheck! Unethical and illegal! If patient care is your priority, go elsewhere!

This is a hardworking Doctor putting in long hours. She is excellent diagnostician with keen clinical j judgement. She performed a difficult operation years ago that saved my life. She is well respected and has been on staff at Northshore Long island jewish Medical center for over 25 years. She offers alternative to hysterectomy when that is all the other doctors recommend. I highly recommend her for what she has done for me and many of my friends and colleagues.

I have been a patient for the past 11 years.
My chart is thock as I have birthed three children under her care. She has two offices and resources in both for monitoring and blood collection. It is a pleasure to not be sent to tje lab for bloodwork or the hospital for monitoring.
Dr. Buck is warm, receptive and real. The all female staff is a plus for me. The office is familial and not a starch uptight facility.

now see here buckos… seriously, she is a good doctor. my first appointment was a little scary, non the less everyone was polite and professional. i went to my second appointment today. this woman knows her stuff! she is kind, gentle, took her time to address my concerns/​answer my questions thoroughly. i don’t understand what these other people are talking about, but i like her. aand i am very picky when it comes to my doctors. also her office is easy to get to, parking is another story… well back to fifa games. its argentina vs switzerland. go switzy go!!!

Not the best doctor I’ve been to… Not even the worst though… I’ll look for another one in the meantime…

This doctor is the absolute worst doctor I’ve ever encountered. She lacks integrity and only cares about money. I went to her for a GYN check up, and she essentially ordered and performed a bunch of invasive tests that were unwarranted. After a very uncomfortable, invasive procedure, she still ordered an even more invasive test that would require anesthesia. By the grace of God, I did not have the test done due to circumstances at the time. At this point, while deciding what to do next, I received my insurance statement for procedures done by Dr. Haskin. Dr. Haskin billed my insurance for a $ 5,000 surgery that she never performed on me. At this point, I realized that this woman was a quack and a thief. A second opinion from another GYN, showed that there was nothing wrong with me in the first place. Dr. Haskin has never returned any of my phone calls, messages, or letter that was sent. Also, Dr. Haskin used an out of state lab, which was not covered by my insurance. I received a lab bill for almost $ 500 because of this. Beware of this so called doctor. She has no respect or care for her patients. While performing one of her invasive procedures, she invited a medical student to «observe» without first getting my permission to do so. She’s horrible and I really wish I hadn’t had the misfortune of ever going to her office.

Dr is very knowledgeable and skilled. She is not warm and friendly but I don’t need that in a obgyn as long as she knows her stuff. The wait time is a little ridiculous though. I’ve never waited less than 50 minutes. Overall best obgyn in the area, as long as you are okay with a straight forward doctor. ****dr buck– you DESPERATELY need new receptionists. I’ve never encountered such loud, unprofessional receptionists who think it is acceptable to SCREAM across the entire office without any kind of regard for patients. ***

My aunt recently went to Dr. Stephine Buck-​Haskin office for a visit because she was having pains in her uterus’s. She had such bad pains in her stomach the doctor did a sonogram on her. The sonogram machine which she used was filthy and cut her stomach! Dr. Haskin denied cutting her and blamed her weight as a factor of what happen due to the use of her distorted, unsanitary, and un safe machine. Dr. Haskin shouldn’t be aloud to practice medicine let alone to bring life into this world. She is unprofessional and her practices in the medical field could patiently harm you rather than help you. I urge all the women who go to her to find yourself another doctor because she doesn’t care about people, she cares about her pocket. Her staff is equally as bad as her, they blame there patients for their negligence! Beware Ladies!

My last review was after my first visit. This doctor is not available most of the time. And in order to refill my prescription she required I come back every 3 months and force me to pay a co-​pay just to check my blood pressure. FYI: My blood pressure has never been out of normal range. I have been on this medication for years and never was required by a doctor to be seen every 3 months. I think she was just looking for a way to make money. Not to mention I waited 40 min — 1hr just to be seen for 10 min. Thankfully, I found a much better doctor.
