This office is a great place for all of your dental needs. Located in the heart of Rego Park, this clinic employs some of the best doctors and hygienists in the city. Staff is very friendly and easygoing. For the best and most versatile dental professionals, you must stop by this office.

Most of the doctors and hygienists are amazing. Their hours are great, I love that there open late on Saturday and Sunday because most offices are only available Mon-​Fri. They do most of everything here, I wish they could have done my removal of Molar teeth but they were nice enough to give me a referral to an awesome place in Forest Hills. The only thing is the wait time, about 30min-​1 hour depending on the day. But the visit is pretty quick otherwise. Anddddd if you have great insurance (not Medicaid) they clean your teeth more thoroughly.

I am a patient at Rego Dental for over 7 years now. I’m very satisfied with the service they provide. Stuff is always welcoming and the wait time for me is not more then 5 min. I brought all my family and friends to this office and everyone likes it very much.

I have been a patient at this office for the past 3 years. Last week, I had a crown done and the whole procedure was easy and painless. I found the office to be very accommodating. Dr. Nektalov was very efficient and explained everything to me. I moved out to Brooklyn last year and still keep coming back to Rego park for my dental appointments. Highly recommended!

Be very careful before you let them do any work on your teeth. I’m serious. I had a filling which fell out so I went here because it’s right down the block and place looks busy. Dr. Yuriy was on my insurance card but the «dentist» who saw me was a Russian pregnant lady Ilya. So she takes X-​rays and tells me I need a root canal. Right of the bat it sounded fishy, I work in the healthcare field and happen to know how to read X-​rays so I asked her to show me. She points to the cavity and says it’s a definite root canal. Then tells me it’s $ 2000 and my insurance doesn’t cover the whole thing it so I have to pay $ 1400 cash. I asked again is she sure because how does a filling that fell out all over sudden turn into a root canal. Well she shows my X-​rays to dr. Yuriy and he confirms root canal. Make a long story short I went to a different family dentist. He did the filling I did NOT need a root canal, simple small filling took about half hr. So here is the truth, they not only tried to get over and scam me, but it’s called causing an injury because a root canal kills a live healthy nerve. They are not honest! Please be very careful. My gut told me they were lying and given I work in a hospital I had a little knowledge to back it up. But most people would just let them go ahead and let them do a root canal. Do your self a favor and stay away from this place.

I went there for cleaning. The dental hygienist who did my cleaning was very unprofessional. She was playing with her cell phone and had her cell phone music on speaker… And when she was cleaning my teeth, she rushed through. Overall, it was a rush/​rough job. At one point I felt that she was going to make my teeth fall out and my jaw was hurting for the rest of the day. Worst cleaning experience I’ve ever had.

I’ve been coming to rego park dental for many years and gotten many different dental work done, but one of the only reasons why I keep coming back to this place is because of KRINA, dent hygienist. She’s probably the best in the business, always. Makes sure that the room is cleaned and all the instruments are brand new. She’s always welcoming and warm, makes my dental visits which I hate more manageable.
I think this clinic would close down and loose many patients if Krina wasn’t there, don’t get me wrong all the other staff for most of the time are friendly but no one works as hard and hussles like Krina.

The ONLY reason this dental office receives 5 starts is solely because of their dental hygienist, Karina. She is the best in the business, comparing Karina to any other hygienist would just be unfair. She is so attentive to her line of duty, cleans, polishes, and waxes teeth so effectively, and most importantly has excellent bedside manner (unlike most staff, with the exception of a few).
I’ve once had my 6-​month follow-​up and since Karina wasn’t working that day, I was treated by a different dental hygienist who rushed the job and I was completely unsatisfied… my 5 year-​old Oral-​B toothbrush would’ve resulted in superior results.
Bottom line: If it wasn’t for Karina I would’t be a patient of this establishment. She wins my heart with her expertise.
As far as the dentists, Dr. Ariel is the only dentist I sincerely trust. The other dentists just seem indifferent, and I would keep back 100 ft from them at all times.

this place is great from start to finish, from making an appointment to being seen and the staff is friendly too!

Even at its busiest this office doesn’t have an overly long wait and does well to stick to appointments. The dentist are pretty cool. My regular Dr. Jacob is a cool guy and seems to be understandably popular. He is also good at remembering you and work done after long stints of time. The other female dentist there with the purple scrubs on (her name escapes me but if you see her you’ll know) is awesome an very personable. I’m heading in for wisdom extraction in a week or so with no worries. They also have TVs attached to the dental chair but its mostly in Russian until music videos or so forth comes on.

The receptionists here aren’t that friendly and are disorganized, especially with billing and setting up appointments.
Not all the dentists are bad here. In particular, there is one Eastern European, short dental assistant here who is very, very friendly and very gentle and thorough on the teeth.
One of the dentists or dentist assistants here who is not Eastern European and may be in her late 20s or 30s is downright nasty!!! I went here for a routine cleaning and by chance got her as my dentist. She was in a foul mood that day and took her frustration out on my teeth. Really rough and extremely unpleasant attitude.
I recently went back to get my teeth cleaned again and SPECIFICALLY requested not to see her. Totally unprofessional and totally disgusting in terms of mannerisms (such as rolling her eyes, etc.)

They’re always so happy to see me, and my dental plan. They love me here. Every time I open my mouth, it’s like an open-​table buffet for the dentists.
Whats more, the experience is so fun when your dentist turns out to be a cute lady. She leans in. I lean in. She’s looking in my eyes while cutting into my gums and ripping away the dead roots in the canal. I look back and smile with a mouth full of blood. She cracks a giggle… I wish every dental experience can be like this!

So what the heck do you do when you can’t chew hard things?
Let’s just say I have chicken broth oozing out of my ears. And?, I’ve had more ground meat and tofu in the last three weeks than I’ve had in the past year!
I really can’t wait to see the beautiful blue eyes of my pretty girl dentist again. I need to get this shitty tooth fixed! I need to get back on my foodie tours. I need to be able to eat crispy cracklin’ roast pork again, goddamnit!!! It shouldn’t be taking me more than 10 minutes to finish up one lukewarm croissant., that’s just not right!
No more soup, no more tofu, no more congee, no more applesauce, please?!! (the red seedless grapes, they can stay…)
