History
Established in 1998.
On All Fours Cat Sitting began as a very part time business, almost a hobby, in 1998 while I was working full time in the corporate world. I volunteered at the Humane Society of NY working exclusively with their cats, had cats at home and wanted to work with cats even more! For 3.5 years, the business was in operation part time, and then finally, in 2001, we went full time and have been servicing our clients 7 days/week, 365 days/year ever since.
Meet the Business Owner
Leslie S.
Business Owner
I, Leslie Kaufman, own and operate On All Fours Cat Sitting, servicing Queens and Manhattan. Always an animal lover, I had a family dog. Years later, friends of mine had cats but I knew nothing about them. Finally, a feline loving friend of mine found a stray on the streets of Manhattan, and Andy came to live with me, in 1994. I was hooked. Months later, I adopted Rosie, who was a beautiful grey girl who was a blood donor for the oncology dept of the Animal Medical Center. After donating blood for a few years, she was ready to be adopted by someone who would give love to her! In the meantime, I was volunteering at the Humane Society of NY, where I worked with the cats for 6 years. Although at this point I had cats of my own and took care of them at the shelter, I needed some more cat care in my life and started doing cat sitting on a very part time basis. After 3.5 years of doing cat sitting part time, I quit my corporate job and went full time, in 2001.
