They are thief, fraudulent, crooks, expensive and not even real, all is copy and you need to buy before you try on, don’t buy from them!!!

I wish I could give zero stars for this place. I bought a few things the other day and the shoes which they practically pushed on me were a bit too big. I didn’t really pay attention to the ‘final sale’ that the owner was so quick to write down on a Badgley Mishka pair of shoes. That he was quick to give me a ‘good price’ on (retail: $ 280, final price $ 150). Too bad I saw the same thing for $ 100 at sake off 5^th two days ago. I came back today to get a store credit or even get something else. ANYTHING. I can’t wear them they don’t fit. No soul or understanding or caring for his customer. I have been coming here for over 15 years and have purchased many dresses and coats and expensive merchandise along with my family members and even have sent customers his way. Shame on the owner for such treatment of his loyal customers and absolutely zero flexibility. I just got engaged and was going to have 15 of my bridesmaids get dresses there. I have never seen such cold and inconsiderate treatment in a supposedly ‘classy’ looking place as Chic’s place. Don’t be fooled by the suit on the owner and him pushing merchandise on you that’s clearly overpriced and seasoned. It’s a shame when a person with no human morality makes an inhuman mistake like that especially when it comes to business. SHAME ON THE OWNER.

If I could give less stars I would. I came in April to find a dress for my mother to wear at my wedding. We ordered a dress and specifically said we wanted a new dress not the sample off the floor. Fast forward to August 18, the day they said the dress would be ready. No one called us so my mom called to ask if her dress was ready. They claimed they didn’t have it and didn’t understand what she was saying. I called and then they said that the dress was there. We went in today and the owner claimed he couldn’t understand my mother’s accent. This coming from someone who has an accent 100x stronger (I had trouble understanding him). The dress they gave us was clearly the sample dress as the tag was exactly the same worn out one. The alterations looked rushed and shitty. I wish I had read these reviews and done my research! Please do not shop here!

Dresses were overpriced and the service there was horrible. No one wanted to help me and the guy that I stopped to ask a quick question was rude and walked off to help someone else.

This place has a large variety of clothes to choose from. The accessories are unique. I like the look of their bright statement hats and colorful floor length gowns. The big purses are also nice and the clothes here have vibrant prints. I believe this a great place to shop if you need something at the last minute. My size is always available. Price can get pricey so I’m only giving 3 stars because of that.

Great products but expensive.

I bought my prom dress from here and they had to order it in my size and whenever I went to see if the dress had arrived, the owner a rude man would tell me to go back the next day and when it wasn’t there that day either I just went back a week later and finally it arrived and when I got home with my dress already, their was a hole on the inside and 2 red stains on the front and when I called to tell them about it so I can return it and get my money back they said store credit only no cash back I don’t understand why I can’t just return something when it is clearly not new and was not ordered, so I do not recommend this store at all to anyone !!! I don’t even think this place deserves one star !!

Dresses are good… But very over priced… The owner is racist… Rude… And made the whole experience bitter!!! This was the first place I went to start my pre wedding shopping. I liked a dress but i wasn’t sure if it was the one. I told him I’ll have a look at another store. To give me his card. N il call before coming. He refused to give me a card and was rude!
If I’m gonna spend soo much money… I’m definitely going to explore my options. I wish there was a zero star!

I just finished purchasing a sweetheart styled dress from here a few days ago. I plan on using it for a black tie affair wedding. The owner and his sales lady both helped me look for numerous dresses that went with the style I was looking for. David (the owner) had picked out a black sweetheart dress with crystals covering most of it… it was absolutely gorgeous, I instantly fell in love.
The price of the dress on the tag was valued at $ 595 but slashed down to $ 475. I checked the dress online and it was valued at $ 550 (not including tax and shipping & handling), anyways we managed to talk it down to $ 350, not bad right! David was very nice with us and very interested in helping us. I am super happy with my experience there and the patience and attention I received from David and his staff.
I will come back any time I need an elegant dress, the selection of dresses here are completely beautiful!

I went to this store looking for a red dress. I found one and thought wow. I enjoyed the store except for the nasty owner. The second time I came in I had called several times and needed to return my purse it ripped my pants cause the defect on the bottom. I was told leave my purse. I bought two more purses. a total of $ 2000 in my two visits. I was told he would get me my purse. Five months later I have no purse a nasty owner. I realize that i should understand this is a 1x store. The owner is not looking for returning customers just the one time buy so GOOD LUCK

The owner is belligerent and pushy but if you can find it in you to ignore him you should be fine. Nice selection of dresses and helpful saleswomen. I’d rate this place a total of five stars if the owner wasn’t such a prick.

I don’t know how they stay in business. I went looking for a dress for my daughter, as soon as we stepped in we were helped by a young woman. I told her our price range/​style preference etc. She was trying to help when out popped this man (owner??) who told me NO we didnt want those types of dresses and Im a mother and it DOESN“T matter how much the dress is for my daughter. I told him his store did not have what we want and he yelled at this woman to get us books to pick the dress from. Needless to say we ran for the door and never looked back. I have NEVER felt so weirded out like that before in my life. Classless. I felt like a tourist in Times square.

Chic’s Place has beautiful dresses but a terrible owner. I went with my grandmother to pick up her dress for my wedding. It was purchased on a Tuesday and was available for pick up on Friday. We picked up the dress on Saturday and it was filthy. My grandmother had it hemmed and it looked like someone wiped the floor with it. My grandmother pointed out the dirt and also said it didn’t look like it was hemmed. The women suggested that she try it on to see if the hem was completed. The owner, with his nosey self, waltzed over and demanded she put on the dress. I was so angry, I couldn’t compose myself and my bridezilla cameout. (recall the episode of the Staten Island Bridezilla Karen) that was me, but with good reason. How dare someone talk to an elder that way! What happened to the customer is always right? I feel bad for the sales people who work for him. Terrible.
