Truth be told. The owners initially listed an item on eBay, which was a Toshiba Satellite A105 Series computer (For Parts Mind You) for $ 10. Basically, their listing indicated their shipping location is in Rego Park, Queens, NY. Mind you I live in Woodside, NY, literally 10 minutes away by car. I kindly asked them if I could pick up the item, in order to avoid the extra $ 10 shipping and handling fee. Their response was with their store address via eBay email. In all essence I got what I paid for and was extremely happy with the purchase. The owners greeted me, we handled business and said our goodbyes. Simple with a friendly attitude. On a final note, for the client who lost his precious data, take it from another computer specialist (Mind You Me) when I say, «Welcome to reality because life ain’t perfect. Tough noogies.» Lord knows how much data I’ve lost through the years but hey what can I say, life continues. Peace everyone ;-)

When they changed operating system for me they didn’t transfer half of my data, even though they promised that everything will be transferred. After I called to let them know, they said that it’s not their problem and that they don’t guarantee that some of the data won’t be lost. The sad part is that I specifically inquired about that particular folder before the change of operating system and asked them specifically if it will be transferred and they told me yes. I than asked again if that folder was transferred when picking up my laptop and was told that everything from old system was transferred to new. Double lying.
