Competent, thorough, organized, knowledgeable, patient, friendly, engaged listeners, great bed-​side manner and I could gone on about Dr. Eidal and his great staff. Everyone there seems to be fully engaged and enjoying providing a pleasant environment for the customer, and they seem relaxed and having fun, yet they still are very professional. If you want to support and patronize businesses which have people who are both personable and highly professional, then this is the place to become a life long customer.

We now have an optomotrist for LIFE! No matter where we go we will always come back to Dr. Byran Eidal in the little town of Reedley, Ca. Whn my son needed glasses this fall I talked him into driving from San Francisco to have the doctor see him. (Suffice it to say we had both been sorely treated by Kaiser.) Dr. Eidal and the wonderful helpful office assistant Dahlia who stayed over her lunch to help my son were both great– patiently answering all questions and letting my son try on every pair in the store. We were thoroughly satisfied. Then an amazing thing happened. Because we live in 2towns– SF and Reedley– we missed the exact date the new glasses were ready (a week earlier than expected.) On Sunday afternoon I called the Reedly Optometric office to leave a message that my husband woudl be picking up our son’s glasses to bring them up to SF the next day. To my horror I heard the office VM explain they woudl be closed a week so I called Dr Eidal’s emergency line. He sounded surprised when I told him we needed the glasses the next day. He was VERY concerned! Since the office had been packed up for new floors all the equipment had been placed into storage. AND his wife was expecting a baby any day. What he did was so NOT 2014. He searched the storage until he found my son’s new glasses and he called me back. Then he DROVE to our house in Reedley and knocked on the door TWICE because my husband didn’t hear him the first time. SO WHO CAN BEAT THIS FOR A Unilocal!!! I’ve been dealing with an eye problem — blurry/​shadowy vision — causing eye strain, fatigue, and headaches since September 2011 and have been through 4 eye doctors already with no results. I came across the Reedley Optometric Eyecare Center through some research showing Dr. Tajiri was at the forefront of studies on Vertical Heterophoria, which I may have or something similar. While Dr. Tajiri has retired, Dr. Byran Eidal studied under him and now runs this center.
Dr. Bryan Eidal was kind enough to review my eye history and give me some great suggestions on tests to do and what may be my problem (might be oil glands plugged up or other form of dry eye and/​or horizontal problem and may need vision therapy). And he was honest enough to recommend that I can have these done around me rather than travel the 400 mile/​8 hr roundtrip from LA.
