Lee’s Service

I’ve taken my vehicle into Lee’s quite a few times for oil changes, and for new tires/​rotation. The past two visits I’ve had haven’t been pleasurable. Once was for an oil change and the mechanic forgot to clear my light, I noticed as I was driving off, had to go back an tell him my oil change light was on. Not the biggest of deals, he corrected the problem. Today was for a tune up. Mike was the service manager, didn’t even say good morning when I walked in to drop off my car, no problem, left everything and he said they would call me back in a few hours. When I went back to pick up the vehicle I paid for the tune up, got into my car and the tune up light was on. Okay. got back down and informed Mike who tried to argue with me that it was my «check engine» light. Mind you he didn’t ask to see the light that was on, he tried to get me to run a diagnostic test because it was my «check engine» when I clearly told him that it was the «tune up light», several times, then he said it was my «oil change» light. I told him no, because I know the difference an he finally says to pull up the vehicle, he sees the light an tries to clear it unsuccessfully then the mechanic Nathan gets in and clears it. No one apologized, no one said have a nice day, they just handed me the keys and walked off, Wow. If they aren’t clearing the error messages on the vehicle what ELSE is not happening? I think they may have lost a great customer today.

These guys saved my life today! I got a flat tire right before heading back to LA! I called Bill and he sent out a driver to me to put on the spare and drive my car back to the shop. Bill also arranged to get special tires for my E350 from Fresno (sent his driver to pick them up) and had my car ready in two hours! after doing an inspection, noticed that all tires were bad and needed to be replaced. Crappy day but glad everything went smoothly! Whew!
will be back again if I need anything done on my car!

Wow! I arrived at 7:40 am, and was told that I needed to book an appointment. However, when I explained that I had an hour to get one done, the guy was accommodating and was actually working on my car within minutes! Impressive! I’d rather support this local business than some multi-​national corporation who cares about profit only! Go Lees!

Great company, they just are always trying to up sale you the most expensive parts and tires.

Let me start by saying my family has been taking our cars here for as long as I can remember. There’s a reason this place has «service» in their name. Everyone who works here is honest and customer-​service oriented. You will never feel like you’re being weaseled out of your hard-​earned money here. These mechanics know what they’re talking about and won’t suggest something just to make money off of you (even if it’s thr first time you’re in the shop). If you need something, they’ll tell you and if it’s a repair that can wait, they’ll be honest. There have been instances when i brought my car in on an emergency (ate a curb, ran over a rock) and the guys have been nice enough to put my car up and fix the
issue for free! Not sure why Unilocal states that it’s a tire shop, it’s a full service auto shop.
