Every negative review received by VY is true and accurate. Her obvious hatered of women seems to be her only motivation (can’t image she makes much money with this many horrible reviews).

Worst experience of my life. Worse than my divorce. Arrogant, self-​centered and disinterested. Save yourself a lot of money, and emotional pain by hiring a family law attorney who has a better reputation. She was MY attorney, not my ex-​spouses, and did not do her job adequately at all.

She is representing my ex Chris Klingele, who owes me over $ 55k in child support. He pays it through the state of CA. Last year he only paid 3 months; yet following a hearing, when I was stepping into the elevator, she called me a «bitch» and told me that I was «in a lot of trouble». Me! What a joke, her client is the one robbing his children and me! Vicki Atty is very unprofessional and rude, but hey like attracts like meaning one loser representing another! The girl next to me on the elevator said, «Wow, SHE“S an attorney»? Yes indeed, and after reading these other reviews, I hope that she does take my ex to the cleaners, because what comes around goes around and he deserves it! Buyer Beware of slime

I am a lawyer. My wife got a real pit bull and pulled every trick. Vicki did a great job for me. She did not file useless, expensive motions. She was cautious and committed. She did not «take the bait» and run up fees. Most people do not realize how expensive it can get when they want their lawyer to get everything. The worst divorce lawyers do just that and end up with most of the marital assets.
I ended up with a great settlement.
I recommend Vicki enthusiastically to all of my colleagues.

This review is on behalf of my husband. He used her services (eh hem) for the demise of his first marriage. I couldn’t believe some of her practices, and perhaps it’s a-​typical of a lawyer to behave this way — not that either of us would know.
Her bad service consisted of:
(1) Never returning a call
(2) Charging fees for messages and emails left when he would call to follow up on why she never returns calls
(3) Failing to communicate for weeks; only to consult 10 minutes before court hearings
(4) Giving attitude
(5) Giving up (eventually she just consided with the other party and said «why don’t you just settle and pay all the other parties credit card bills, attorney fees, etc»
She was lazy, always on vacation, her assistant did half her work, and no one ever returned phone calls or emails. If zero stars were available, they would be given.

Me too! Exactly my experience with this family law attorney. She may have issues with women, so I’ve heard. You hear these things when you start asking around in the legal community. I am a legal professional, and was dismayed by her sincere lack of caring, and callousness in doing things not according to the book. Amazing. She took lots of money in the beginning, though, when she made several promises that never came to be. Very very sad experience – please save yourself the agony and interview other people who have better Unilocal reviews!!!

It is a mystery why Unilocal filtered ALL of this attorney’s bad reviews – please, I urge you if you are reading this and wanting more information on hiring Ms. Yeley, to please go to ALL of her filtered reviews (see filtered section to gain access). They are going to all say what I am – very bad experience! And no, I was not with the «other side.» I hired Ms. Yeley after she had made several claims and promises about how she was going to handle my difficult divorce. I can accept that the outcome in a divorce proceeding is one that will always be less than what you were hoping for – but to have very poor and incompetent representation is the worst nightmare, especially during a difficult emotional time. She did not seem «present» and seemed more preoccupied with exhibiting flirtatious behaviors toward the opposing counsel and judges. I wanted to trust that she knew what she was doing, but she neglected several important legal issues and I had to hire someone after her to pick up the pieces. She was a true nightmare. She really needs to retire at this point. Please ask around before seriously considering hiring her – for these reasons, I am thankful for these kinds of review sites so you can read about other clients’ experiences, which for her are ALL unsatisfactory. Stay away.
