Woofs and Wiggles Dog Daycare & Boarding

We took our 3 dogs here for boarding and day care while on vacation. Can’t say enough about the great care they received. They are older and require medications and special food — all of which worked out perfectly while there. They truly cared about our babies. Will definitely be back! Thank you!!!

Johnny and his staff are attentive, professional, and receptive to our (collective me and my dog) needs as a working professional, concerned dog owner, and pouch who likes to play until her heart pitter-​patters to the point where she just can’t take it any more. Key points:
— The facility is secured by a series of gates, so no need to worry about any run-​aways
— The dogs are separated by play-​style
— The site is well kept and cleaned on what seems like a hourly basis
— The staff absolutely loves dogs and are always smiling
— Someone is there ²⁴⁄₇ which is great for overnight stays

I have nothing but praise for Woofs and Wiggles! Johnny and his team are amazing! They are incredibly thoughtful with attention to detail in how my dog is cared for. My dog is bigger, but very submissive and gets bullied frequently at dog parks, so when I mentioned this to Johnny he took the time and assured me she would be placed in the right spot. I feel like they’ve followed through! She gets the right amount of exercise and she’s so happy and tired when she gets home. Johnny is flexible and understanding of busy pet owners and goes out of his way for my awkward work/​school schedule. I’ve had to drop my dog off early and pick her up late, and they’ve always been so kind about it. The girls who take care of the dogs are sweet and know my dog by name. They’re always smiling which brightens my day and I can’t help but smile too. My dog loves going here and gets super excited when we drive up, highly recommend!

I love woofs and wiggles. I was hesitant to sign up for a doggy day care because I thought my dog had weak social skills with dogs and I didn’t know how she would take it. My beagle has been coming to the office with me since she was only 3 months old and so is super people-​oriented. Despite having brought her to the dog park her whole life she has always been shy around other dogs. My new job is not dog friendly and family sitters are not always available so we needed to find something for her to not be left home all day by herself. Johnny and the staff are awesome and make using their service super convenient. Johnny answered all of my questions about how she was doing after the first evaluation visit and put her in a play group that worked for her age and shy temperament. I bought a package of visits and have been taking her more regularly. It gives me a lot of comfort to know she is getting attention and care throughout the day. Seeing her hang comfortably with other dogs is great.
Today I was on a phone call when I pulled up outside and had to finish the call before I went in to get my dog. Johnny saw me outside and made a special effort to bring her out to me! I am very impressed by this thoughtful gesture.
They took a nervous nelly dog owner and made me feel 100% at ease leaving my beloved pooch in their hands.

Thank you to Johnny and his wonderful staff for taking good care of my baby boy. We left our pitbull mix boy Thornton here for a couple of days while we go on a short getaway. Johnny took good care of him (feeding, washing, and giving my dog playtime) I definitely recommend this place for any dog. My Thornton came home super tired and happy with his stay there. Thank you to Johnny and Staff for all their hardwork.

Drago came home so tired after today’s daycare session, THANK YOU TEAM WOOFS AND WIGGLES! At first I was weary leaving him in a new environment since he was only use to Wags, now after today’s trial I can see a difference with Drago. Drago had a tendency to «mouth» other dogs since he’s a puppy and would «mouth» at people who’d try and pet him, after today he stopped mouthing. YES, can you say «success»? At Wags they tend to let dogs do as they please and play as they please, here they show your dog how to properly play and demonstrate to them what is and is not acceptable. I like this, I like that they show my dog «okay» behavior and «not okay» behavior. Yes he’s only seven months and it’s common for this behavior, but just like a child you have to rear dogs into showing acceptable and not acceptable behavior– manners if you will. I checked his body for marks like the worry wart I am and he was totally fine, he came home dry after today’s HOT weather but was in a kiddie pool cooling off a majority of the day; I loved seeing him in the pool being well taken care of in this California heat. Hopefully we get to come back soon and have Drago play some more with his friends. Thank you once again for taking in my pup for the day, you’ll be hearing from us soon for future daycare :)

I saw only 5 star reviews before trusting woofs and wiggles with my dog. I got a great impression from a very friendly staff. Firstly, Its important to note I was told that he would be fed separately (all the dogs were supposed to be).
When I went to the back office to check him out, I was handed two freezer sized bags of food. I had measured out 10 days worth of food, so I asked if he’d been eating alright. I was told he was eating fine.
I’d noticed he had a black eye covered in crusting goop when I was walking to the back office, so I was anxious to get him away from the other dogs, and didn’t challenge that fallacy.
Johnny told me we should take my dog aside to check him out. About fifteen seconds in the back room, and Johnny admitted that his black eye was bad and that is must have happened yesterday. I challenged this one, he had a partially healed scab on the other eye. Johnny quickly backed down, as it was obvious he hadn’t been properly cared for.
I understand that dogs are going to get cuts and stuff, but I never heard a word from woofs and wiggles while I was on vacation. The first thing I did upon touching down was to call my dad /​emergency contact to make sure nothing had gone wrong. I was worried because I was promised 24 hour supervision, but woofs and wiggles was mysteriously unable to let me pick my dog up on the 5^th of July because they were closed for the Fourth of July weekend.
Woofs and wiggles promised to take care of the veterinary bills, which they were able to do directly with a card on file at veterinarian that told me conjunctivitis was an allergic reaction.
So far, I’ve noticed cuts and small bites all over his body. A cut on the back leg is still bleeding. Both front elbows have lots of bite mark cuts that look like they have been healing for days. To top it off, my dog has a balled spot on his back hip, and is shedding profusely, likely from the stress. I left my dog in the small and submissive dog pen, and when I came back, a large dog was being held back from my whimpering dog in the larger pen he was moved to.
Please see the attached pictures for my poor dogs elbow and face, and please think twice about other options before you leave your dog with woofs and wiggles, especially if he or she has a friendly disposition and won’t fight for him/​herself.
Update — After a good bathing, it’s obvious my poor guy has small balding spots all over his body and a bruised purple-​black tail.

Woofs and Wiggles is an incredible facility. It is clean and well-​kept, and the dogs get to play with each other throughout the day! My dog, Shasta, LOVES to play with the dogs and she comes home absolutely exhausted from all the fun. The staff is great and friendly, and if you need to board your dog, the overnight staff is a plus. I’ll definitely be using Woofs and Wiggles from here on out.

My family has been using this doggie daycare for our Jack Russel Terrier for the last 10 years. This includes when they went by another name. The service has always been excellent, the manager maintains a very clean and friendly environment. Whenever we arrive our dog always gets excited because she knows she gets to go on her own vacation whenever we go out of town. This is something I cannot say of any other boarding place we have ever used.

I rarely write a Unilocal review these days, but when it comes to Woofs and Wiggles, they deserve the praise. Why this place doesn’t have more 5 star reviews is a mystery to me.
I’ve had dogs all of my life, but my new 6 mo. old Havanese, Lizzie, is the first of my pack whom I’ve ever even considered to put into daycare (for socialization). After my boyfriend’s coworker suggested Woofs, I stopped by for a tour and was pleasantly surprised. After touring the ridiculous Lear-​Jet-​Level of WagHotels just a mile away, I knew that Woofs was definitely the place for us.
Here’s what I love about it, and it mirrors what reviewer Liz M. says, with a few extras:
— It’s not a chain, and they know every dog by name and personality!
— They reinforce training commands
— The place is clean and everyone there is extremely friendly
— Dogs are separated by size and temperament
— The price is TOTALLY reasonable. If you buy their biggest package, it works out to like $ 25 per day. Boarding is extra $ 20. Compare this to the money pit that’s Wag Hotels or any other place in the Peninsula — such great value!
— Easy to get to (just right off of Bay Road, off 101)
— They’re not in «individual cages» and have both indoor and outdoor play space
— «Family» feel here — they genuinely care about your dog!
The passing of my 14 year old Basset in 2014 probably led me to become more hypersensitive to the care given to my pup — so I fully admit to calling Johnny (runs the office, helps out with the dogs) multiple times to talk about how Lizzie is doing, what she was up to, if she’s happy, and how she’s getting along. After terrible experiences at boarding facilities for my basset, I was extremely high-​anxiety about finding the right day care for Lizzie.
For example, I noticed after picking her up the second time that she still had a lot of energy — I called Johnny to ask about it, and he said that she is more of a people person and she has been a little timid around the other dogs, so he said he would make sure she got a little more grass time with a smaller group of dogs so she could run around to her heart’s content.
The next time I went to pick her up, sure enough, she fell asleep in the car on the drive home, tuckered out from all the play. Johnny even asked me to call him back the next day to tell him how she did and if she still had the same level of energy when we got home. I did, and the genuine sound of happiness and joy in his voice, and him telling me he would make sure to get her more socialized and tired out — I almost cried. That was a HUGE deal to me and goes to show just how much W&W cares about your dog.

Great place for dogs!
–The service to dog owners is excellent.
–Place is clean and organized.
–Dogs look happy and healthy.
–They separate dogs by size.
–The care takers are friendly and attentive.
–Price is reasonable.
My pup gets excited once we turn the corner to W&W’s. She can’t wait to jump off the car and play. This is a pup that is nervous of loud sounds, and very shy to the point of having accidents. At W&W’s she is a completely different dog! She’s confident, very social, and happy.
My pup was a regular at a local well known day care center. She would start shaking once we approached the building, and would immediately have accidents when we entered the building. To see she is so excited to go to W&W’s is proof that they are worth every penny!
Johnny and the crew have been a pleasure to work with. During her two weeks stay they sent me pictures, and updates. My pup was washed and ready to go at the time I was expected to arrive for pick-​up! They pay attention to every detail.
My pup is happy, so I’m happy.

My dogs love this place. I love this place. Easy drop off and lovely care. Johnny is incredible. Definitely will be back.

When my dog senses that we’re approaching woofs and wiggles, he gets super excited. When we get there, he goes in, and doesn’t even look back.

Dianne, Johnny, and Marcos run the shop well, and take your dog’s health and well being seriously. Don’t let what seems like walking into deliverance perturb you… it’s a great place, and the staff here care for your dog just as you would. They get to play with their friends, and come home pooped — it’s a win/​win for everybody!
Only downside is, given the number of dogs here, your dog will kind of stink when he comes home. They chase and tackle and slobber all over one another all day long, but if it makes your little monkey happy, then what can you do but accept it?
They also are very flexible when it comes to pick up and drop off time — and you don’t need to make a reservation 24 hours before you go. I’ve been in snarled traffic a few times trying to get there to pick him up by 7pm, and as long as you let them know, it’s not a problem. They have a caretaker for overnight boarding named Marcos — and he’s a dog whisperer in his own right.
They also offer discounted multi-​visit packages — very useful for the occasional visitor.

Our flat coated retriever loves Woofs & Wiggles, and so do we! We have tried a few other doggie daycares in the area, but are especially fond of this one:
— very flexible hours and no reservation required for daycare
— simple payment process; they take credit card, which is convenient
— very affordable, especially when you buy a pass
— clean and orderly facility
But MOST importantly, everyone on staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. They obviously love dogs and are deeply concerned with the pups in their care. We feel very confident that our boy is in good hands when we drop him off; he is so excited when he arrives, and so tuckered out when we pick him up… which is exactly what we want!

I was totally in love with this doggie care. We were going on vacation for 10 days and had to find a place for our puppy. They took such a great care of our schnauzer. They even let her sleep next to the guard, so she is not scared. The owner is the sweetest lady and she is truly kind and loves dogs. Our number one choice for dog’s care.

The only one who loves Woofs and Wiggles more is my dog, Leo! Just getting close to the street, and he is barking, jumping and excited to get out and literally pulls me inside! Diane, Johnny, Marcos and the other young lady are fabulous and really know your dog and their likes. When I drop him off they always put him in his area with his favorite ball and off he goes without a backwards glance lol. They have generous hours, and are flexible and accommodating with drop off and pick ups when needed.
For those going for the first time, you will be immediately pleased with how clean and well-​taken care of the facility is. With the office in the back, you walk by all the dogs and their indoor/​outdoor pens so you can see at a glance how happy they are and how nice their environments are.
I could easily stay and talk with the staff at great length they are so friendly, but they are also very prompt with taking your dog at drop off and having your dog ready to go, that I could easily perform these in about 5−8min if I am in a hurry. With notice and a small fee, they will even have your dog squeaky clean at pick up!
I would recommend this place to anyone… and I have!

Have taken our dog here twice. Comfortable with the location, the facilities and the staff. Facilities are clean. The office is in the back so from the moment you walk in, you can see the conditions your dog baby will be hanging out in. 24 hour on site supervision with Marcos.
Most appreciate the customer care: they are flexible in so many ways and are attentive to both their 2 legged and 4 legged clients. Doesn’t get better, I think.
Also like one of their policies: making sure shots are current, not just at initial screening but are kept up as time goes on. They made a folder for our dog with his picture on it! :) (awww…)

Swear to God. This is my first review ever… I created a Unilocal ID just now to write a review for Woofs & Wiggles, coz it desevers one!
I got the reference from a colleague who said that it is a very good place with reasonable prices. So I decided to check out the place for my 8 month old puppy «Happy».
Honestly when I drove down to the place, the street seemed a little shady. And thats the only non-​positive thing I can ever say about the day care.

If I drop my dog off on Friday night and pick him up on Monday night, I am only charged for 3 days. Unlike many other daycares that have time restrictions for drop off & pick up. All I need to do is text Diane and she will make sure that we can pick up Happy in the night.
— Very caring & organized. They attend to any special neeeds for the doggies.
My puppy needs egg in his kibble. So they cook egg everyday for him. Also since he is a maltese, his feet tend to get dirty very quickly. On my request, they clean his feet! How sweet !

This place just opened and my dogs are enjoying life there.
Diane, the owner has a heart of gold. She is very passionate about making this facility a loving and comfortable environment for dogs’ day care and boarding so that owners can go on vacation knowing their furry loved ones are in good hands. It’s clean, odor free, with toys, beds, little insulated doggie igloos, indoor rest areas and 24 hour supervision.
There are two grassy areas for dogs to play and romp during the day in addition to their large indoor/​outdoor play pens. My dogs love it there and can’t wait to get out of the car once we arrive. Scooter barks like crazy when I stop the car in front of their driveway. Marcos will come out and my pooches completely ignore me once they see him. He loves my dogs and it’s clear my dogs love going to Woofs and Wiggles. My pooches can’t wait to play with Marcos and Johnny.
I haven’t seen my dogs this happy in a long time. I used to leave them at home all day and Scooter was having anxiety issues to the point of licking his paws raw. He had slowed down, was low on energy and I thought he was just getting older, which concerned me. Since going to Woofs and Wiggles, he has stopped his excessive licking and his paws are almost back to normal. His energy level has returned and he’s full of pep again! Kobi loves playing with Marcos and all the toys he has access to.
It’s a nice feeling knowing when I’m away during the day they are being well taken care of with lots of love and play time by the Woof and Wiggles staff.
