I can’t believe I am the first person writing a review for this place! I’ve referred other people to Victoria Burke over the last year because my experience with her was great.
In the summer of 2008 I was going through a crisis. My cat was dying of cancer and I was a wreck, trying to find a job and take care of my dying cat at the same time. Victoria was super sweet and empathetic — one of the nicest temp agents I’ve ever worked with. She quickly found me a temp job that paid very well, and as she described it, having this place on my resume is like saying I’d gone to Harvard. She turned out to be right. Even though it was just a temp assignment, it worked out really well for me, and since I was able to put this place on my resume, it helped me get two (permanent) job offers later.
I should also mention that she was also able to get me an interview with a really good VC firm. Although I didn’t end up working for them (I got a job with a different VC), it did pay very well and it was in a really nice office.
Victoria is awesome. The Six Degrees office is in a nice location in Redwood City /​Redwood Shores. If you are living on the Peninsula or in the bay area and looking for a good temp agency I would highly recommend these guys.
