They do STAR and were fast and knowledgeable. Went to 3 places along this section of Middlefield that either didn’t do STAR Smog Check or were busy and charged more. $ 50 and a quick and easy check worked well for me.

Took me right away, nice & friendly.
Cons:
They said it would take 15 minutes, but they said my car wouldn’t communicate with their equipment… something about our stereo we installed? Anyway, instead of doing a quick 5min fix, he said to bring it back another time because they were busy… guess what? I’m not coming back.
Wait room was terrible-​dirty, dingy, and smelled of smoke.
Some other guy that didn’t speak English was sitting in a chair, watching TV, smoking, & chatting on the phone loudly in another language.(not a great impression… and who the heck smokes around cars, gasoline, and oil!!! Hello!!!)

We had a check engine light that kept coming on after an engine rebuild done in San Mateo. Not they not two other mechanics could solve the problem. Estimates at the first mechanic was about 1500 for dying more with no guarantee to finally fix the issue. QT found and fixed the problem for less than 200. I recommend.
