Very honest guys! Erick & Benn did a great finding the problem fixing my phone extremely quick and for less money then I thought I was going to have to pay. Next time my phone has a problem I’m coming back.

In reality, at least for my iphone 6 plus screen repair, they used a 3^rd party part made with inferior materials (non gorilla glass).
The screen had noticeable ghosting from light coming in from the front facing camera and speaker holes, along with cracking easily with simple finger pressure being applied to the screen.

Terrible experience and service. I requested a phone screen for my Nexus 5 the first weekend of December and was told they didn’t have the parts but they’d be in by about Thursday of the next week and was asked to call back before coming in the following weekend for the fix. I called back on Thursday, and apparently the parts that did come in were defective, so they asked me to call back the following Monday when proper, non-​defective parts were in. On day 10 (the following Monday), I called back and was told there was no record of me, I re-​explained the whole situation, and they put me «in the system» and said they’d call me in another 2 – 3 days when the parts were in. It’s now 1 month later and I have yet to receive a call that parts are in.
I would have been fine with any answer, including even waiting a few weeks (arguably, this was around the holidays so delays in shipping could be expected), but there was just no communication back from them or any updates whatsoever, and as a result, it seems like the store has just completely forgotten multiple times. At this point, even if the parts do show up, I have no confidence that my phone will be fixed properly, so I decided to go elsewhere. This other place was able to see my phone, get the parts, and fix it all within a matter of 24 hours.

Jacob is amazing! Highly competent, very attentive and very professional. It is hard to find repair stores like that.
They helped me FULLY RECOVER MY IPHONE 6+ from water damage. I have full functionality working after soaking the whole phone into the water. It is truly fantastic. It is nearly impossible to find another service provider who will recover your phone from water damage.
Don’t forget to bring the phone right after the damage happened and don’t plug it into outlets.

I had what I thought was going to be a moderately expensive repair on my iPhone. I walked in to kangaroo mobile and the friendly guys behind the counter quickly figured out it was much more simple. They had it fixed in just a couple minutes and didn’t even change for the work. I will definitely take any future service here.

Worst experience! Mobile Kangaroo in San Mateo is much better. I went to the RWC one and what’s difference!
1) shop was supposed to be open at 10. I went there at 11 and no one was there. The phone number was wrong. He finally showed up 30 minutes later and did not apologize for keeping me and another customer waiting.
2) rude the entire time. Did not explain anything. Just kept saying it will take 45−60mins. He said he didn’t care if I waited or cancer back later but said it in the most «f* you» way. *
3) I was there to have my iPhone screen replaced. That part was OK. But, a monkey can be trained to replace an iPhone screen. There are services that will come over to your office and fix it in 20 minutes.
Go to the mobile kangaroo in San Mateo. Much better service. You can verify through Unilocal that I’ve done business with both of them in the past.
*note: this is a review of the gentleman who was present on Saturday in Nov 2015. May be other staff are better.

This place is great i had a broken charger port very dirty and i didnt know how to fix it and this amazing employer fixed it fr me at no charge, mad respect man!!! I recomend this place if your looking for great friendly fast pace service in technogly repair in genral

I really wanted to like these guys… It got good reviews on Unilocal,and I was desperate to get my cracked screen fixed. But not only did they unlock the front door at least 20 minutes late, they used an inferior screen to replace my cracked screen, and the thing broke almost by itself within a few weeks. I ended up taking it to a nearby competitor to have it fixed again. In hindsight, I should’ve taken it to Apple in the first place. They don’t honor a warranty when the phones been repaired by A third-​party. These guys may be good, but the current 4.5 star average is a little too high in my view

Cheap, fast, painless… Jacob and Eric are doing a great job! $ 99 dollars to fix my iPhone 5s screen beats the $ 200 dollar quote from sprint any day! Thanks guys!

These guys went the extra mile to help me do a quick and entertaining repair right at closing time that let me get my upgrade done. Fast, reasonably priced good work and night of the living dead was playing in the background as an added bonus. Shout out to Jacob.

Terrible job at replacing iPhone 5C battery, damaged some circuits in phone!
Another time called to order a battery, guy says he’ll place an order and call me when it’s here.
Guy never called back, I did after two weeks, placed a new order. Same story…

I usually just go on Unilocal to find places. But today I went to Mobile Kangaroo cause the corner of my screen had popped out and Eric and Jacob helped me out. The service was great I hardly had to wait, and they were done in seconds.
I will definitely think of this place if I ever have to go get another phone fixed.

Eric and Jacob are very nice guys, and they repaired my phone well. I brought in my iPhone 5 with cracked glass for them to repair it. They had it for about two hours, and repaired the glass no problem. Cost was about $ 90 and they were quick. At the end of the day, they fixed everything, and it’s working fine now. Eric followed up with me to ensure I was satisfied.

Thank you Eric and Jacob! They replaced my screen, determined my batterie was good, and sent me off.

These guys were awesome. They fixed my iPad quickly and efficiently. In and out in less than an hour.

After some nice water damage to my new iPhone 6 I managed to get it back to life. The home button, however, stopped working. I took the phone here and they ordered the part. $ 80 total. I took the phone back when the part arrived, they put it in and it still didn’t work. They opened the phone up in front of me, jostled things around and voila it worked! So instead of paying the $ 80 I payed half for the work and now I’m back up and running! They seem really knowledgeable and work really quickly. I was in and out in 10 minutes. I only wish they would have opened up the phone the first time I went in instead of having to come back a second time after ordering the part.

Loved this experience. Came in at 5:05pm. The place gets busy before closing at 6p, so opt to stop by from 3p-​5p or earlier before the lunch hour crowd.
Not all screens are in stock, so give the owner a call first. I was lucky that the iPhone 5s screen was in stock.
Little less expensive than iCracked and more personable, but does require the effort to drive to the location, pay for parking, etc – so keep that in mind.
There are plenty of covers for sale also and the owner has lots of phone knowledge too about all brands and all service providers.
Highly recommend, but remember, try to hit him up during off-​peak hours for more one-​on-​one service and call ahead to ask about your parts in stock.

Even though I have had some trials and tribulations– like a dirty car and a broken phone screen, the people that made it all better have made it a 5-​star kind of week. (Ha ha… I hope you know I’m completely exaggerating!– a broken phone screen or a dirty car are not even remotely close to trials and tribulations!!).
Ahhhhh! My iPhone 5c screen cracked again! This is probably the 5^th or 6^th time since I bought it in February. This time I didn’t throw it or smash it, accidentally. I got out of my car and it slid right onto the pavement. No!
Quick– I need someone to fix the screen, pronto! I called the other guys all over Unilocal iCracked, and got no response from roughly 6pm– 2pm the next day. Then I remembered seeing all the cracked screens on display over on Broadway, Redwood City.
Heck yeah– I’m going there. I walked in to find a nice young gentleman ready and willing to help me in whatever way he possibly could. I asked him if he could make it quick, and he replied with exactly what I wanted to hear, «Yes, it’ll be about 10 minutes».
I left after listening to him blast some of my favorite beats and gave him some room to do his magic (although the store is very spacious and I could have easily waited there). I had places to be and people to see!
Once I came back to Omar, he presented my phone which had been repaired and appeared to look brand spankin’ new.
The procedure was quick, easy and painless! Not exactly free as I would have liked it to be– but hey, that’s what I get for being so careless before!
This guy is good– he knows what he’s doing– and does it with precision and care! If you’ve maxed out on your phone insurance coverage– this should be your next stop for sure!
