Established in 1985.

Mike Schaeffer has lived and worked in central and northern california for over 40 years. Since 2001 Mike has focused his consulting services to the San Francisco Bay Area and Silicon Valley. Small is efficient, small is extremely effective. The benefits of working directly with the principal, are many, but foremost is the streamlining of the project processes. Mike Schaeffer Consulting is a one man firm, that brings with it a diverse network of peer professionals available as needed. I am driven, methodical, and work quickly, delivering cost effectiveness for the client. Definitely, the asset I am most valued for, is my foundation of diverse first hand knowledge of the interdependent layers that have to be synchronized on any given construction project. Over the last 40 years I have been a Tradesman, Estimator, Project Manager, Project Superintendent, and upper management, often wearing multiple hats to deliver the best results.

As an early innovator in the 80’s, I adapted custom pre-​fab construction methods for both residential and commercial purposes; I am well versed on the current trending markets in modular and factory built construction. I designed my own estimating
