Was down town Redwood City last night(around 10ish, that means 10pm-10:37) and they had the«OPEN» sign on… The RUUUUUUUDE ass“manager” comes out and said they were closed for about an HOUR!!! False advertisement Hun Hun!!! IN-n-out were soooo much friendlier plus Bette burgers, fries and hours.

I go here around my break time sometimes because I work down the street from this five guys. It’s a good place to eat if you’re craving something fast and grilled. Don’t get me wrong, their hot dogs and hamburgers are absolutely delicious but they literally charge so much for every topping. But out of all the five guys I’ve been to, this one is the cleanest I’ve seen and the staff are very friendly.

I’d say I’ve had the best experience at this location to date. The staff was accommodating, the food was delicious, and the restrooms were clean(smelled like spearmint for some reason). I was disappointed by the fact that I had very little fries because they usually add a little extra to every order. I didn’t mind it. I just thought It’ll decrease my caloric intake since I’m fat. Overall, great place to get some burgers and fries at 10pm on a Friday.

What’s the big hype with this place? I honestly don’t get it? I felt as if I was in a newer version of Johnny Rockets. Burgers/hot dogs are ok and the fries are not bad. I can’t see why I would come back to this restaurant or any 5 Guys. Looks to be another hip place for now until people realize there’s other and better selections out there

Oh man are these burgers good. They melt in your mouth good burgers and the fries are delicious and plentiful. I like the atmosphere and the location right next to the movies. The staff is nice and they are fast. You can add from many ingredients or have it all! I really like this place, it’s really top notch. Foodies out there know they want these burgers.

The real burgers place. If you want a burger not a McDonald then Five Guys is the place to go. My friend and I rode down to this place in Redwood City. The place is the same as the place i used to go in Arizona except the outside is cooler here. Free peanuts. Hamburgers taste like beef. I had the double cheeseburger with all the fixings. Large fries enough for both of us. Regular drink(refillable). Always will go back to Five Guys for a burger. We went after the lunch rush(2pm), so no crowds and we took our time eating and chatting.

Service here is okay. Had a burger but it was really over cooked. Would come again for the fries.

First impressions matter, especially in a place you’re going to eat. I’ve been to probably 7 other Five Guys, from San Diego to San Francisco. All have been clean, good quality food and prompt service. Even though there are sometimes a few peanut shells on the floor, you can understand. This place, however, when we walked in, had garbage on the floor. Everywhere. It looked like someone had not cleaned the floor all day. We decided to sit at the tables outside, as it was also freezing cold inside, and a pleasant evening outside. The guy who took my order was unpleasant and clearly uninterested in helping anyone. Some advice for management: show up. Hire service-oriented employees, and make sure the place is clean. At all times. Will never eat here again.

Third time I give this place a try and sadly probably the last. I ordered using the Five Guys app(which is great, btw). Hubby went to pick the orders(different days, different weeks, but always at night) and all the times the fries were practically burned. The burger was flavorful but the bacon.. again tasted like it was burned. Same flavor as the fries. .a kind of old burned too. Not sure if the oil is being recycled too many times or if the night crew just doesn’t care or know how to cook fries properly. I kept making excuses because I know crews can be new and it takes time to learn. But it stinks when I’m hungry and expecting a yummy burger and fries and get… something else that is not even satisfying. :(Next time I’ll either go to the Belmont one(which never seems to let down) or to the new burger place down the street(it can’t be worse than this).

500th Review goes to 5 Guys! First off let me say, the name 5 Guys makes me think of a porno. Plus all the signs everywhere with words like, juicy, big, grinding, meat, heaven… & then the damn salty nuts! This place really wants to give you the D. So come hungry or stoned. The place was bustling on Thursday night. Took longer than I expected for the food to come out but the lettuce burger was pretty good. Not as juicy as In & Out, but the fries were wayyyy better than In & Out. The free nuts are a plus, except for when they get all over your car on the ride home :/

I was just trying to kill time and this eatery just so happened to be near where I was parked. Figured I’d get something small, a grilled cheese sandwich, and ate it. It was greasy and juicy, and of course I’d get this again. Went to the restroom and saw oodles of articles and ads about the joint, that it’s known for their fries. So of course I had to get some fries. Ordered a medium. And WOW it was pretty amazing. Perfectly cooked, a nice crisp on the outside and salted just right. The service was good, nothing amazing. I noticed open boxes of roasted peanuts all laid out. you can help yourself to them. Pretty cool they let you snack on that for FREE! I didn’t bother getting a burger, but hope to the next time! I’m coming back!

Short girl at the front register had a lot of sass. Didn’t like that at all, as a worker you need to calm down. Losing the customers that way… And as for the food: didn’t know it takes 20 mins to make a damn hot dog. Luckily a nice girl apologized because she saw me upset about all this. Her name was Karina I believe. Black hair, Mexican girl. Thank you Hun!!!

I came to this Five Guys in need of a good juicy cheeseburger and yummy crispy fresh fries and Oh Boy, was I disappointed! Service: VERYGOOD! I walked in and was soon greeted by the amazing cheerful lady! complemented me on my purple fit **A+ for that** and soon after took my order. I ordered the cheeseburger with Regular fries. Fast and easy order! She stated to me my number and handed me a bag for my peanuts! AMAZING customer service! Ambiance: Just like you typical Five guys! I loved there vending machines! Peanuts are also available and nice Red theme. Food: Food arrived about 10 minutes after I ordered. I have to admit that like that I seem that all the workers in the cooking area was wearing gloves! Another A+. My burger was good and yummy but now my disappointment came when I ate my fries! Ughhh my fries were NOT cooked all the way!!! I WAS so angry! Like what happened to cooking all the way and then adding that good seasoning :(isn’t that what Five Guys is known for? I was SO disappointed and with only 30 mins for my lunch break I couldn’t dare pick that day to speak my mind so I just left… UNSATISFIED! I don’t think I will come back to this location. I prefer Belmont but I have to admit the customer service here is VERY good!

The front cashier was great! She was quick, friendly, and thoughtful of my order. I would come back just because of the service. Bacon Cheeseburger cause murica; double patty that sh. t if you’re paying that much for a burger(meat’s great stuff too), I put everything on mine cause I’m a hungry girl during busy busy lunch time. Cajun style fries cause get outta here with that basic shxt(In N Out). Con: Someone should’ve immediately cleaned up the pool of water I almost slipped on next to the soda machine. No lawsuits now, ya hear? Overall great great great.

For a fast food burger place, you can taste the quality in the patties. I recommend getting one patty just because two tend to dry out the burger, or else ask for some extra sauce. The fries are absolutely addictive, get the cajun spices on the side so you can dip the fries in it whenever you want. Overall tasty burgers and addictive fries.

Five Guys has a simple menu: burgers, dogs, fries, shakes,… eats: little hamburger(4.29) –usual tasteless, juiceless meat(almost well done) –lettuce, tomato, onions, condiments very tasty crumbs: –fab service –burger average –toppings tasted better than burger –peanuts tasty too. –burger pricey?

First, a lady cut in front of me, so rude and didn’t wven ask if I was in line. She then ordered a bunch of burgers and fries and drinks for her family. Which pissed me off more, only because I wanted 1 thing and her order would make me wait longer. Second, I ordered a little bacon cheese burger. I really love bacon, and was very hungry. They called out her order and my order, that woman’s kid got their order. I went and did errands and went home to eat my burger. Turns out there was no fucking bacon. WTF. WHERE’S MYDAMNBACON?! All I cam think is they gave my burger to that rude lady, and her family is probably enjoying the free bacon cheese burger, while I am left with a burger I paid more than I should’ve without my bacon. Fuck you 5 guys. I expect you to give me my bacon twice as much than you normally put. You gave a woman my burger, a woman who cut in front of me.

It’s been a long time since I have eaten at Five Guys. I wasn’t really impressed with their burgers the last time I was at Five Guys in another location which was like a few years ago. I stopped by Redwood City to grab something quick to eat to wait for the rush hour traffic to subside. I saw there was a Five Guys near the theatre. With some reluctance, I decided to give them a try. I was surprised by how good their burgers taste this time around. I don’t know. Maybe I was just super hungry, but I have to say their burgers are pretty good. I found out that their burgers are juicier than they look once I sunk my teeth into them. I was expecting one patty, but they actually give you two. The best part is you can choose any toppings you want on their menu. I got a hamburger with mayo, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, and ketchup. I really like the grilled onion and mushroom combination. I also got their fries. The fries look better than they taste, but still pretty decent. They also have this cool looking soda dispenser. For the guy who doesn’t know how to operate it: on the screen, there are choices of many drinks you can choose from. You just press the drink of your choice until only the name of the drink appears on the screen. Then you push the button just below the screen that says«PUSH» to dispense. Also, you can get ice by pushing your cup against the lever just behind the dispenser. They’re located next to a theatre. They play 80 – 90’s music. They also gave me more fries than what I ordered. This is now officially my favorite Five Guys location. The next time I stop by downtown Redwood City, I won’t hesitate to go in.

Dear children who frequent Five Guys, I’m that woman in the corner with her boyfriend, a mushroom burger, and a cherry vanilla coke. The burger is okay, but you don’t really deal with nostalgia with added ingredient coke products like I do. While I’m sitting there chewing on my just okay burger, I’m watching you. It’s not creepy because I’m a woman, don’t worry. But, less like«watching» and more like I’m being reminded of my childhood with a grimace on my face. When I was your age, I, too, had bright blue hair. Then purple. Then it was a multitude of colors. I also spoke too loud in small spaces, making sure everyone within a five mile radius could hear my opinions on whatever AIM status message or homework assignment I had to work on that day. You guys are incredibly annoying. That grimace isn’t because of the food because it’s nothing special to rave about even if they give you way more fries than McDonald’s. It’s because you’re reminding me of what a little asshole I was who thought I knew everything and was«super mature» and better than everyone else. Go home, it’s past your bedtime, and I want to eat in peace. Get off my lawn goddammit. Regards, Me

A lesson in British: *Monster Munch — A baked corn snack in the shape of a monster paw. My first experience of Five Guys was at this location and I have to say I’m quite impressed, the Burgers are tasty and the staff are awesome. First time here I made the mistake of ordering the larger of the Cheeseburgers( ) which was a lot bigger than I expected, the ”little Cheeseburger” could have quite easily been enough. Everything tasted really fresh and was so filling just one thing I don’t like at Five Guys is how the bun is always squashed. Booo! The Cajun Fries( ) are really good and Hubby discovered that dipped in Ketchup they taste like the Flamin’ Hot flavor *Monster Munch he loves so much. Portions are also really big so even if 2 of you are dining then the smallest portion size is enough to share. While we were dining staff were extremely friendly. Not only did we witness 2 staff do the rounds in the dining area asking customers if everything was to their satisfaction if they could get us anything else but also when we were at the funky Coke machine they also told us how we could scan in the QR code on the machine to find out more about it and other Coke products. Honestly, the best service I have encountered in a fast food restaurant ever!
