Byron’s Heating A/C & Appliance

We have a Maytag gas dryer that wasn’t staying hot. Byron called to let us know he was running a little late, which we understand and appreciate. He diagnosed and resolved the issue quickly. He even had the part on hand to take care of it. He’s also a super-​nice guy. Thanks Byron!

This guy is as honest as honest gets. I have used Byron’s services for years and call him whenever I have problems with my appliances and have been very happy every time. I recently called to ask him a question about my dishwasher and he gave me some advice and did not feel the need to come out for a service call right away. I will monitor and call him back if I need help — and I know he will come right over. Prices are reasonable as well. I highly recommend this company!

Do not use this company they are unreliable and will not show up for scheduled appointments. They have no sense of customer service and are rude. If you use this company you will be let down.

I HATE that I have a Maytag… because Byron doesn’t work on them. He has to be one of the most honest and nicest guys ever! I remembered him from an insurance agency I used to work for many years ago. When I googled him I was so happy he was still in business… but sad when he told me he doesn’t work on Maytag washers. HOWEVER, he was nice enough to give me a referral. Next time I buy an appliance I will call Byron to ask what kind I should get that he can maintain for us. Again, nicest guy ever! Call him and see for yourself. :-)

Byron diagnosed the problem and quoted me a price over the phone that was lower than others’ bid. When he came to fix my heater, the part required was kind of expensive but he went out of his way to find a universal part that works just as well without the mark-​up. Basically, he made the extra effort to save me money while doing the job right. Also, he’s a very nice guy!

Byron Fixed my GE refrigerator Ice Maker.
He was flexible with appointments, never late and very professional and friendly.
He had to order a part for the refrigerator and he came back and fixed it.
Everything works just fine now.
I will call him back and I highly recommend him.

well, I just called to fix a GE washing machine and broken air con thermostat. Had to leave a voice message… but he called back promptly and told me he didn’t fix the type of washing machine I had and no longer worked on A/​C.
SO…Back to the drawing board. he should probably change his ad on Unilocal… :)

My oven was making crazy sounds so I contacted Byron who got back to me right away and was able to come out and look at it the next day. He showed up when he said he would and when I explained the problem who knew exactly what was wrong. Thankfully, he had the part that needed to be replaced in his truck, replaced it and was gone within 15 minutes! He and his son (?) were so nice and I was so happy to have my oven working again! Thank you, Byron!!!

Byron and his son came out to our house to fix our washing machine, and also to look at our wall heater. They knew exactly what was wrong with both, and stayed late (after 6pm) after they had had a very busy day in order to get them fixed for us because of our 8 month old baby and the cold weather. They were very friendly, polite, and fixed the problems, for an amazing price! I would highly recommend them.

I really appreciate that Byron was willing to recommend a couple other repairmen when he was too busy to take on my dryer repair.
Unfortunately, the person he recommended completely misdiagnosed the problem and we ended up fixing it ourselves (he would have had us spending hundreds to replace obviously working parts, we tracked the real problem down to a bad relay).
Still, next time we can’t fix a problem, I’m calling Byron.

Byron and his son fixed my washing machine and it was a great experience. They were punctual and super fast (job completed in 17 minutes!). They know what they are doing, have a great attitude, and their rates are very reasonable.

Byron and his son came out yesterday to fix my fridge. They were both extremely nice people, and they fixed the fridge quickly. So quickly, they had time to also fix my dryer — and only charge me for a 15-​minute session. They left the kitchen in great shape, too. 5 stars for them!
PS, Byron said, if his dryer fix didn’t work, it means the moisture se
nsor is broken — over $ 200 to fix. So I should run the dryer til it breaks and then buy a new one. Great advice!

I originally called Nick at AAA Appliance and since he was busy, he recommended Byron to fix our washer. He was able to come the next day, arrived on time, was very professional and personable, and fixed the washer quickly. Truly was a pleasurable experience, and I would recommend him and call him again without reservation.

After our dishwasher died, we decided to call Byron as he has a five star rating here on Unilocal.He is very kind and thorough, answering questions, never leaving anything to chance. He and his son, Steven, who is a carbon copy, spent an hour taking it apart and diagnosed a defective control pad; yes, we had to wait a couple weeks sense we all went vacation a week apart from one and other. But, it was worth it. He came back today and installed the new pad and we have a like new dishwasher. For $ 300.00, it was well worth it. So, for air conditioning, heating, and appliance repairs at reasonable prices with friendly knowledgeable service, Byron’s cannot be beat. Keep up the good work guys.

Byron is prompt, highly competent and a really nice guy!
After a horrible experience with Speedy Appliance Repair, Byron was like a breath of fresh air. He fixed everything for a fraction of the cost that we were quoted from the other guy.
He spent time with me to explain things clearly and he saved us a ton of money! Byron will forever be on our speed dial list, he’s a gem!

Byron and his son came out quickly to help me replace a part on my Whirlpool Duet. Very friendly and helpful — I would call them again in an instant!

I used Byron’s for the third time today to repair my 13 year old Whirlpool washer. Each time I have used him he has been courteous, punctual, knowledgeable, and VERY reasonable as far as price goes.
He has a great service attitude that you rarely see anymore. I have used numerous repair people around my house in the past and he is head and shoulder’s above anyone I have ever used. If I could give him more than five stars I would.

I’m pretty sure it was Mr. Byron himself that came to look at my refrigerator.
Sadly, he couldn’t help my ailing Whirlpool. He did diagnose its badness and offer a recommendation for someone that could replace its compressor. He also offered suggestions for my sister, who needed someone to fix the seal on her Sub-​Zero.
Since he was there, I asked him about my air conditioner, which became consistently inefficient after about 3 days of 90+ temperatures, but seemed to recover in time for the next hot spell. He quickly gauged it and pumped more refrigerant into it, showing me how to look at the glass to see if it was low.
He was prompt, warm and friendly without being unnecessarily chatty, and intelligently answered all my questions. The only reason I didn’t give him five stars is because he didn’t make any major repairs I could rate him on.
