Birim Boyer, DDS

Lots of bad dental care when I was a kid (silver-​mercury amalgam) and as a young adult (US Navy), so dentists were not my favorite people. I have suffered much from staying away from dentists, and only going to them when I am in pain.
Dr. Boyer changed all that. I get examined and cleaned every four months, and she keeps me healthy. She uses the latest technology: ultrasonic cleaning tools, instant computerized x-​ray imaging, and blue light cured fillings. Her assistant is telepathic in working with Dr. Boyer and keeping me comfortable.
I am self insured, so credit card payments are no problem, and I can depend on a reminder call a day or two before my appointment.

I had Dr. Boyers make two crowns and I had the best experience with her.
Her practice is clean, welcoming and very well equipped.
What I liked the most about Dr. Boyers is that she explained to me very patiently all that she was doing in a very simple way that I actually understood. :)
The crowns were ready before the estimated time which was great! I got comfortable with them in a few hours and after 4 months I am still happy with them.
I feel like I can trust Dr. Boyers as she did not started recommending me dental work that I did not need.
I would recommend Dr. Boyers to anybody who wants to have high-​quality dentistry work made by a knowledgeable, kind and trustful dentist.

I’m not sure why my previous review was removed or filtered or why Unilocal even does this??? We’re lucky to have found a dentist we love, considering we are not originally from Northern California, but Southern California!
Dr. Boyer is great! She’s extremely professional and an expert in her field. Her staff is amazingly pleasant and very welcoming. I have been to several different dental offices throughout my life, changing from one dentist to another because of bad experiences… which also ended up costing me a lot of money.
I enjoyed my experience with Dr. Boyer because she is honest and doesn’t recommend unnecessary work like most dentists. She is thorough in her exams and even better in her explanations to make you feel at ease and help you understand what work needs to be done and how it’s going to be done. She’s gentle and cares about her patients and does amazing work!
The most important thing is that our 4-​year-​old son loves her. We took him for his first dentist appointment TO ANOTHER DENTIST and he kicked and screamed and cried. A couple of months later, he fell and chipped his tooth and so we went directly to Dr. Boyer. She helped calm us down and calm our son down. She explained every little thing about what can happen after a chip tooth and what to watch out for. Luckily for us, we followed all her directions carefully and that saved our son’s tooth from dying and turning grey. At our son’s follow up dentist appointment with his ORIGINAL dentist, he cried and said, «I don’t want to go here! I want to go to Dr. Boyer!!!» So we permanently switched to Dr. Boyer for our whole family!
