Drove my ’86 Toyota over to Tran’s at Broadway and Douglas for a smog check — no joy; the ’86 must go to a Test Only station, which Baycare is.
The test was $ 39.99; the total bill (including certificate and electronic transmittal to DMV) came to about $ 50. Only one guy was ahead of me.
There are a couple of chairs outdoors (sun was hot today) and a couple in the office. Not much reading material, though they have two copies of California laws related to automotive services.
I was home less than half an hour after I set out (I live about ½ mile away)
